Unlikely. Nintendo will pull out of hardware and release their games on Xbox and PlayStation platforms. Suddenly their profits will surge when they tap into these markets. Sega did it and succeeded.

Valve can only enter the market if there is only 1 other competitor; they will automatically eject from the industry as soon as there are 3 entities.

Apple would replace Microsoft as they would have a similar goal (bringing games and players to the apple platform as a whole, not just the console),

Samsung would replace Sony as the Asian mega-conglomerate.

Google would replace Nintendo by default, but even if that wasn't the case I feel like Google would replace Nintendo. I can't put it into words why though. Does anyone else get that feeling?

If Sony dies, gaming will be fine. If Microsoft and Nintendo dies, I'll be worried, gaming will be dead because Nintendo and Microsoft are the only ones making real games. But I doubt either will pull out. Nintendo will never drop out and at Microsoft the CEO and Phil see Xbox as a valuable asset to Microsoft.

Google, Samsung, Apple, etc. companies already established in Mobile would, at most, push some kind of mobile+TV integration, as they have already been trying.
Valve wouldn't do anything more than possibly give Steam Machines another brief marketing push. MAYBE they would actually try manufacturing their own.
