Finally I can be Space Hitler and terminate everybody.
Beauclair did nothing wrong
...
Will this finally make the game not boring?
>Fanatic Purifiers: Your empire will not tolerate the existance of any other sentient life. This Civic requires you to be Fanatic Xenophobe/Militarist and gives very large boosts to the effectiveness of your military and gives you Unity from purging Xeno Pops, but disables all diplomacy with other species and forces all Xeno Pops in your empire to be purged (though you get to choose the method of extermination). All other regular empires will also have a massive relations malus with you, the one and only exception being Fanatic Purifiers from the same species.
Suffer not the xenos to live.
>plants
Anons you have a choice
CHOOSE either A or B
A-Liberal diversity pro xeno reddit
or
B- For THE EMPEROR,Sup Forums, KIll all Heretics and XENOSCUMS
lol
I hope they add jumpgates. I need them in my life.
Being a centrist is suffering.
...
memes aside, it's true. People need to learn to be more pragmatic.
>(though you get to choose the method of extermination
They better let me build THUNDERDOMES.
But will we get reptilian portraits that aren't shit?
Everyone is pragmatic from their own point of view.
how about fucking combat that actually lets me control my ships you damn faggots
In the current climate? No. The alt-right and leftists are not pragmatic in the slightest. Just two sides of the same cancerous coin. I do have a particular disdain for leftists though, sad bunch of people.
I have much more fun playing a Pacifist/Xenophile in Stellaris than just another generic purifier empire.
If only the lazy fucks would make diplomacy worth a shit and less of a pain in my proverbial behind.
I'm a centrist because I am extreme in my views but half of them are on the left and the other half is on the right and they just kinda balance out on any tests.
I always hated that to purge all filthy xeno scum, I had to be in direct control of a planet. If I discovered a primitive civilization to conquer inside one of my sectors, I had to reclaim the system for influence to purge them.
If I conquered a planet with full pops from an enemy empire, I had to pay double resettling cost so I wouldn't lose it when I exterminated them all.
Being able to purge all aliens implicitly will make the game so much better. Though I do hope for some better variation in arthropoid portraits.
That's basically hitler.
I've been told I fall into national socialism before
>Eject all immigrants with deadly force if need be
>Close borders
>Government takes over hiring for jobs. You want a job? Register with the government agency and they will put you someplace that will best use your skills
>Basic income
>Politicians can be sent to jail if they do not meet campaign promises or at the very least show they tried
>Guns for everyone / no real gun control
>Infrastructure first above everything else on the budget
>Free healthcare
>Free education
>Extreme tariffs on nondomestic goods
>Forfeiture of corporate assets if they move jobs overseas or do other things that hurt American employees
>Very high taxes for everyone up to 100% for the very rich
I just feel like purging is an inferior strategy as opposed to waging wars and annexing systems.
Purging makes everyone hate you. Cleansing planets means that anyone can take them after.
While annexing systems through war only pisses off the one you went to war with and their allies, and you can deal with factions by spending influence.
How about we meet in the middle and annex planets while enslaving all xeno populations.
I have not actually used slavery yet. Any particular downsides?
I guess bigger chance of revolts?
>purge types
>Extermination
>Displacement
>Forced Labor
>Processing
>Neutering
it's a tough choice 2bh, outright extermination of xenos sounds the most fun, but not eating the xenos and working them to death sounds like a waste of resources
Yeah you get a dissenting slave faction that you just focus on appeasing and you're all set. Other civs that despide slavery will hate you though.
Slaves provide bonuses to mineral and food harvesting and negatives to research (as if you'd have xeno scum anywhere but the coal mines) You can also unlock slave armies to use as expendable shock troops.
>Take planets
>Don't purge immediately
>Force more or let your own pops move on their own
>Alternatively build a robot
>Enslave and purge over time as your pop takes over
Have they not put in the missing slave related stuff yet? They said they were adding it in since launch.
What missing stuff?
No thunderdomes. The extermination options are (in the new expansion):
>Extermination
>Displacement
>Forced labor
>Neutering
>Processing (into food)
But for slavery, there's an option for Battle Thralls.
We need mods on this now. I want an "Entertainment" option.
>Lets you build THUNDERDOMES
>Every month or so a tournament is held
>Between X and X xeno slave pops die
>Your species on the planet and near by planets in the system get 10 x X happiness that decays slowly
that strategy will be better with utopia: you can purge pops by turning them into food in turn massively boosting your growth rate
>Be Paradox Interactive
>have highly successful games that many adore
>milk your fanbase with 10+ DLCs that are each priced 20-30 $
nope, pirate, day 1.
Also, cute bird
fanatic individualist, in the current patch, lets you integrate any species into your empire with any ethos other than fanatic xenophobe with barely any happiness lost
had a fanatic individualist/militarist run where I forcefully integrated the entire galaxy into the unified galactic republic, it was ungodly op even after nerfing myself by choosing the military republic government form (worst government form in the game bar none)
>Slave revolts
>lave related quests and events
>Ability to equip enemy slaves to start an insurrection
>Ability to recognize the "state" of the enslaved pops on an enemy to boost their moral and get the to rebel
>Ability to raid other nations to take slaves
>Slave markets
>Slave ships
>Ability to sacrifice slaves to rush building constructions
>Suicide slave units that do extreme damage but die immediately
All things they were talking about. They pulled out the whole system at launch because they couldn't balance it all in time.
bility to r
I did the same thing with a Fanatic Xenophobe empire.
It's a perfectly viable strategy with any ethos, pretty much.
>All races play nearly identical unlike older 4x games where everyone has vastly different mechanics of travel and function
I guess hive mind might be the first step in that direction but it doesn't sound like it'll be much different.
yeh but with fanatic individualist even with the max non-xenophobe penalties (xenophobe does not get reduced) a pop only has like -20 happiness which is easily nullified with hyper entertainment forums and maybe a happiness policy
heck most pops wont even form factions despite the -25 recently conquered modifier, every planet conquered gave immediate benefits
