Carthus rings, Lightning ring (the one the reduces lightning damage, i forgot its name) and I think I used either chloranthy or something else, great shield, no armor (like armor matters anyway), Max sunlight straightsword with high strenght, dex, and faith, and very well timed rolls.

Thats how i ended up soloing him. I wasnt able to summon anyone on my second playthrough so I had to gitgud and solo. After soloing him I know see why people say he is one of the best bosses in the game.

I tried the bow and arrow method too but it just didnt work out for me.

Great magic shield on a buffable great shield is enough to withstand every attack with zero stamina loss.

Nameless King wasn't so bad, but I swear like 5 times I almost had him dead and he'd pull a new move out of his ass and catch me off guard
