FUCKING WHEN

FUCKING WHEN

GODDAMMIT CAPCOM GIVE IT TO US

>Capcom
>Having good ideas.

I've convinced Dragon's Dogma was a fluke.

>tfw it will probably be some copy paste ubisoft game instead of Dragon's Dogma+More and Better version.

But user, didn't you know? There's a F2P japanese MMO that's a spiritual successor to Dragon's Dogma!

>climb to the top of the fort to reveal more of the map
>gather 20 greenwarish for an xp bonus

MMOs do nothing but kill franchises

I liked the combat in DD but I thought the world was a little too bland for my liking. I hope they give the game better visuals.

There's been a lot of DD threads recently, did someone just finish the game?

What's the best warrior build for this?
Should I just level up as an assassin the whole way through?

My favourite part was definitely bbc isle. The thing being a huge dungeon with lots of monsters and loot was super fun. The main world lacked more dungeons and stuff

Isn't the released version of DD only like 60% of what the devs wanted the game to be, but capcom told them to release it like this due to the entire project being too expensive?

I-... It's going to get a sequel soon. They're now finished with Starcraft and, and...

There was a ton of content that was cut/never finished. Some kind of infinite tower, a fucking moon area, all kinds of crazy shit.

Why are good games not allowed to be finished

I don't think so.
Blizzard build an empire around it Warcraft.
Of course, the game suck balls now, but in a monetary point of view, MMO's seens to be a sucessfull way to generate money.
After all, they are not worried about players, right?

Story-wise, Dragon's Dogma II would be a very hard sell. The first game is literally an endless cycle of the Arisen becoming God, the new God choosing Arisen to replace him, over and over again.

There's really not much else you can do. Perhaps their best bet is to create a spiritual sequel, much like what Dark Souls is to Demon's Souls and expand on the existing game mechanics.

Minmaxing attack as assassin is going to leave you as a really squishy warrior. Yeah you can just not get hit, but warrior has the least amount of damage avoidance options of any class so you will likely be taking some damage. You really don't need to care about builds in this game though because it is pretty easy. If you do minmax assassin you will have finished everything in the game before you get to switch to warrior, so if you want to play warrior just play warrior.

Capcom are fucking faggots, what else to say.

During gen 7 Capcom executives somehow thought that their devs could make games within months like back in the PS2 era

>if you want to play warrior just play warrior.

This. I went straight from fighter to warrior and never looked back. Sure I didn't to as much damage as an assassin but I could get the shit kicked out of me and take massive blows and keep fighting. It's what made it fun honestly.
