So I've been playing the 'free' version of this awesome game and I've noticed it just went on sale today on Steam, however I don't feel like wasting $+80 on a single game with all the DLC, so what are the must-have DLCs and what can I ignore for this?

Just a fair warning, most people dont ike Sunset Invasion since it adds an ahistoric Aztec invasion, so its really up to you if you want it. I like to play with it sometimes simply because it mixes things up.

Steam doesn't check DLCs at all. it will run fine.
Never played a paradox game before, wanna try it out online, how is it? Why are there so many DLCs? Can you pirate them and play online with someone else who pirated them as well?

Did you run the DLC activation exe as instructed? did you tick and untick the DLCs in the lanucher?
