I own a switch and don't really like it.

Sadly the best fucking Zelda game ever came out on it so I was forced by Nintendo to buy it because I want to play that amazing game.

Again amazing game, shit console. And WiiU was even more of a turd so I never even bothered with that one.

Yeah this. I'd gladly pay $100 more to at least have the newest tegra chip put into it.

I bought a Switch. I like it so far! It feels like a good product to me. Although seriously lacking OS wise. But that will obviously be updated. My only concern with the actual console right now, is its a bit cumbersome to remove the joy cons. But maybe it's because I'm being careful with my new toy. The actual joycons attached feel very sturdy and the controllers themselves feel pretty good. The control scheme does take some time to get used to though.

Ovetall I like it, I'm glad it's something different. We'll see what the future brings.

Breath of the Wild is a system seller and the best thing I've played since I started hating videogames but I have a Wii U so I won't be going anywhere near it for the foreseeable future.

Breath of the wild is my personal 10/10 and it is very possibly my new favorite game of all time. This says a lot considering I'm a jaded 30+ year old life hater.

The Switch in contrast is kinda underwhelming from a hardware perspective unless you look at it as a handheld device. It might be still worth the buy simply for BoTW if you don't have a WiiU.

I would return the Console after completing Zelda. You can buy a new "fixed" one when Mario comes out. I am pretty sure a lot more launch consoles will die until the Mario release. The hardware is just bad as fuck.
