Everything rhymes with murder.

It's a turned based JRPG that has combat which revolves around a simplified positioning system. You combo your turns and push enemies into each other or into terrain for damage. It's pretty fun. The plot revolves around time travel and the way Stocke acts so cleverly about that is why alot of people like him. Magic is 10 times stronger than physical, but it's an Atlus game that isn't EO so what else would you except?

The DS has so many great games.

It's been this way for years. Nobody ever discusses the gameplay or anything else about the game, Radiant Historia only gets brought up by obnoxious faggots who make threads like "ITT: post god tier vidya MC's".

From what I've played of the game, he's basically the "stoic protag" done well, without edge, angst, or melodrama. He's pretty much thrust into the midst of a inter-dimensional quandary that has him fighting a war on multiple fronts no matter what he does, yet doesn't shirk from the responsibility and sticks by those he fights with through thick and thin. He never comes off as too-cool-for-school and actually cares about others. He gets shit done with minimum bitching.

I liked him a lot. Just a pretty chill guy who wants to save his friend and gets that 10/10 Blackrose pussy in the process. I also loved how he was very self-analyzing ("are we really doing the right thing?) but never stopped.

The "lean on me and I'll lean on you" relationship between him and Blackrose was also 10/10. She is strong for him when he's weak, which allows him to gain strength to be strong for her when she's weak. There really is no other vidya relationship like it.

Very entertaining protagonist, very fun to play, has excellent character development, and probably has one of the absolute best psychotic breaks in all of gaming without going over-the-top or having to use tons of extra in-game assets to increase the impact

Also love her english VA, I thought she did a fine job with a character most would just roll their eyes at. I hope this starts a trend of more interesting protags in this series (and in general) but I doubt it.

What I like about Caim is how in most games, the side characters are just riding the MC's dick shouting how amazing they are because of how good they are at murdering hundreds of soldiers.
