Anyone here go to trendy hipster roof parties?
it will for 2 hours.
True story:
>be me
>walking through the town square
>some dudes got a switch
>they're playing 1 2 switch
>there's a crowd around them cheering and yelling
probably
It's fun to play drunk with people. But the novelty probably wears off fast.
'Tis the story of must party games brought to college circles, but Nintendo will still make a nice dime of of it.
Regardless, if you have any lick of knowledge in you, save your money.
the wild west game is fun as fuck at parties.
I mean, besides smash bros, nintendoland was the most played multiplayer game I had on wii-u. Once you fire it up and get 1 or 2 people playing with you, and they realize how fun it is, you can get something like 1-2 switch to become the center focus of a large group of people rather easily. But it takes someone with some charisma/magnetism to get them initially interested. It's got the same appeal the original wii had, novel mini-games with easy to pick up mechanics and clever use of unique control schemes.
You've been to multiple parties since the switch release?
>asking a virgint nest about social gatherings
One Friday when it came out and one Saturday. I was the only one who brought mine Friday, but there were a couple on Saturday.
OP you gotta bring the switch to a bar where there is an open dance floor area and find some drunk cumdumpster pushing people aside to find some chad to grind on (yes the bitches do this in bars for your information NEETs) and ask "m-miss I would like to 1-2 switch"
Cause face it, even highschool freshmen are drinking and probably doing more stuff then weed. Nowadays if you didn't get laid by junior year highschool then god help you with todays "ladies".
was at a party with a guy who brought his switch over last friday
that's bullshit.
Unless you have a big hdtv docked to it, it's pointless to play in a crowd outdoors. The problem is that the range of the controllers is so shitty that you need to be close to the switch. Added to the fact that the screen is so small... the players end up blocking the view from everyone else so they can't see shit unless you are viewing at a weird angle.
>talk with a gamestop guy about Super Bomberman R and I rag on 1+2 switch as an aside thing
>he tries to sell me on it with "come on, it's just as fun"
>I tell him "let's be honest, no it's not."
>he gets butthurt as fuck as he attempts losing arguments with shit "it's fun with kids" and other gems like that
Might as well argue that "Carnival Games" is just as good a time as Smash Bros Brawl.
>unless you have a big HDTV docked to it
The entire point of the game is you don't look at the screen. It uses audio cues to do stuff. You're supposed to be looking at the other player. There's almost nothing to look at on a big HDTV screen unless you really want to see those score numbers increment.
he made it up, obviously
>hold a strong opinion on a game you've never played
>thinking you win an argument when you just talk past the other guy
At least it's obvious you frequent Sup Forums
>Get so butthurt you follow people onto Sup Forums
What makes you so fucking sure that I've never played Carnival Games?
Also, the guy was lying through his fucking teeth and he only cares about sales.
>game
a game is a game user, putting some little arrow next to the word doesn't declassify it as a game
It's as much a video game as MacGregor the board game, which is objectively a better game btw.
