How many shrines are there im worried im going to finish soon im at 22
Breath of the Wild thread
Like 900 they said but i dont believe it, because the world map is kinda small
Im trying to find hearts only found one so far
Also the sheikah slate moves im missing one any advice?
There's 120 shrines and fucking 900 Koroks.
I've found 42 shrines, and 15 Koroks.
You are thinking of the Korok spirits. There's only about 100 shrines.
its a big game
A tip for the Koroks, any rock that looks deliberately placed, like a solitary rock on a mountain, lift it. You'll get one more often than not.
How many endings does this game have?
A side quest gives you a camera function and compendium which is super helpful to track down animals and plants.
How long is the game?
Yes I know you can just rin straight to the bad guy and finish the game like an ADD subhuman.
about 8 or so hours on a completionist run
Dont be a faggot son.
I'm at about 60 hours, and while I've not done everything, I can safely say I've seen all of what the game offers, and what is left will be retreading similar ground, I've not killed Ganon yet though.
WHAT FUCKING QUESTS AM I MISSING FOR THE THUNDER HELM?!?!
sorry I don't like to run around in circles in an empty field for hours on end
Well then it's not a completionists run, you illiterate monkey.
Speaking of monkeys the fucking banana heist was Goat!!! The yiga clan one
900 Koroks. NOT shrines. Stop being a shitbird.
Do they give rewards? Also any maps of the overworld
like to get it from the yiga (yuga?) base?
"completionist run" means ALL 900 Koroks and ALL 120 shrines. NOTHING less would constitute a "completionist" run in any sense in any reality.
If you do this in 8 hours I will remove and eat my own dick.
Stop shitposting you huge fucking faggot.
Getting the game tomorrow. Does this game have ACTUAL sidequests, or is the entire open world just justified by "there are bokoblin outposts that give you a chest when you kill them, also shrines are sprinkled around"
Ive only been playing couple hours here and there i spent 3 hours trying to find the fairy fountain in kakariko village and gave up and went back to farming food
Are there any weapons that dont break?
They are used to increase the size of your inventory for weapons and shields.
nobody cares about that autistic shit
user are you serious....it's like literally down the road. Are you that same old man who was looking for it in the game?
No. After you get it back and beat the gaurdian beast you get a sidequest from gerudo loli to solve all the problems of the gerudos in gerudo town to get the actual helm.
I've done everything I can find. Found the secret shop, Beat the sand seal race. Got the molduga guts, helped out the jeweler, saved the gerudo at yiga base and south west, helped the other gerudo at the shrine out in the desert by making the ice noble drink for her.
I can't fucking find any other quests. Something tells me theres one more tucked away that you can only get by talking to someone at a certain time of day but I can't fuckin find it.
Actual sidequests, with actual stories to go with them.
No, even the Master Sword breaks but then gets better after a 10 minutes.
So many sidequests, the world is not baron its beautiful mate
I was collecting mushrooms and this faggot approached me trying to sel fish
>and fucking 900 Koroks
why
fuck this game
Anything that looks suspicious is probably a korok. Rock on top of a hill or tree? Korok. Ring of rocks with one missing? Korok. Ring of stones in water? Throw a rock in, get a korok. Leaves floating around the top of a flagpole? Korok. Koroks are everywhere.
>walking around minding my own business and catching fireflies
>YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I think this would also mean full compendium
fully upgraded everything
all side quests
all moblin camps and treasure chests etc.
4u
I found that place before finding Kakariko you autist.
See that mountain? It's a korok
Wtf but everyone in the village said it was fucking hidden so i spent an hour on impas house and under it trying to find a secret entrance, and behind the waterfalls nothing
Orange is the village, red is the fountain, the idea that you spent 3 hours and missed it blows my mind.
give the giant pumpkin looking thing 100 rupies you cheap ass nigger
try climbing the mountain next to teh village if you can't see it it's literally glowing orange like a shrine
>tfw prowling around Hyrule Castle looking for that fucking cookbook
>see a large tower guarded by 4 turret guardians
>"gosh there must be good treasure in there!"
>Nope, it's just a Lynel, and I'm locked in
Any way to reliably find the dragons?
what did he mean by this?
currently sneaking around Hyrule Castle with four hears. Found 6 ancient arrow and some decent shields and weapons in the guard house. Also random diamonds and stones stuff. Any tips?
Is there anything else worth my trouble or should I just continue the game?
>Bonooru's Stand
Woah, is this a motherfucking what I think it is?
Summon lightning and then fucking run in all the confusion.
Oh come on man thats way off from the village theres literally no directions from anyone in the village other than its hidden
There's 120 shrines and 900 Korok seeds.
the npc old man in front of impas will take you there senpai
you need to pay the bitch 100 rupees tho
theres a shrine right up the hill before the grove too
also it says fairy whatever on the damn map
Did you help the lil girl at the empty lot near the bar to stop the polluter cause I've gotten the thunder helm and it seems you're that one
An old man walks you most of the way there if you talk to him, also the path from the village directly leads to it. All you have to do is make a left once.
Finally, you moron, the first thing you should do when looking for something is get to high ground and look around, you'd see the giant orange splodge on the ground easily, I did that my first 3 minutes into the village.
Any decent ways to farm rupees without selling anything? I was thinking about just doing that Goron climbing game over and over
There is a guy you follow directly there.
Ok im here for one thing and one fucking thing only!! Where the fuck do i get the dark link suit
And will there be new continents with dlc because i need more
>why
Because they're neat rewards for curiostity and exploration. Finding all of them is far from required, but finding them is always a nice surprise, and the reward they give, while not vital in any way, is actually useful.
Do ancient arrows do more damage to bosses or only Guardians?
>Went into the game as blind as I could possibly be
>My fucking face when I first saw the dragon flying around lake Hylia
This game is so beautiful, I'm completely willing to forgive the shitty framerate issues
Holy fuck they could do so much micro transactions with costumes why are they not doing it i would buy shit loadd of outfits
Who /photographingliterallyeverything/ here? I've gotta 100% that compendium. Call it autism if you must, but I'm having fun
Not really, but ore are almost worthless except for specific upgrades and items that are also worthless, you can farm them like crazy on Death Mountain, or from Talus' so just sell them.
Oh yeah-fucking-right.
If there were 120 shines then they'd be literally all over the map and your shrine scanner would be going off every 2 minutes.
As for 900 Koroks, do you really think that the devs are going to give you 900 item slot upgrades?
Just guardians. They are garbage on anything else. And a waste of money.
>why are they not doing it
What do you think Amiibos are for? You can get classic Link/TP Link/WW Link outfits as Amiibo exclusives and people extracted data for Fierce Deity Link and Dark Link outfits and weapons that will no doubt be linked (pun intended) to future Amiibos.
Most are hidden by side quests, but as of now I've gotten close to 70 from just exploring.
As for the inventory upgrades the cost is exponential.
Same, was not expecting it at all.
>money
I got one for free from being a good goy to Beedle.
The shrine scanner only goes off if you're directly facing the shrine's location in a relatively small radius from the shrine.
Polluter? You mean the one eating all those watermellons?
I was wondering why the hell she was up there and figured there had to be something tied to her but gave up looking.
thanks user!
Oh wow m8 one, well that sure showed me! You can kill A guardian now. Congrats.
It's not exponential, it's additive by 1.
There's probably a limit to how many slots you can add for each equipment type though.
>120 shrines and 900 koros
holy shit
As long as you're enjoying yourself, you can play the game any way you want to
At first, but when you hit 5 upgrades it jumps up and keeps jumping.
No. It goes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 etc. The cost gradually increases faster and faster.
>Ragdoll a moblin
>Game freezes for a second
It keeps happening, is this a regular occurance?
Oh, I only got to 5.
stop defending this retarded amount of collectibles
Stop being autistic in trying to find every single thing in the game.
If you don't want to collect them, you don't have to. I find them fun to collect and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
>having a lot of collectibles is bad
So...don't collect them
>the game's good once you gimp yourself
Look what I just found at Walmart
i found less than 10
but if you think thats autistic, ok
I've found 27 from just randomly doing shit. The only people who complain about such a large amount of Korok seeds are those that feel the need to get them all.
>900 Korok seeds
That's a joke right? Im like 50 hours in, only done Zoras and Gerudos dungeon, have seen about 50% of the map and found around 51 korok seeds.
There's no fucking way that there are 900. Maybe 100.
>Trying to beat Stranded on Eventide.
>With only three hearts.
I need more enthusiasm.
Please tell me you get a fucking Korok scanner at some point near the end of the game.
Cheese the physics, it's your only salvation.
There's indeed 900 Korok seeds but you only need 470 to max out your inventory.
>10,000 Rupees
What the fuck you stupid jew fairy
how do you beat that fucking island Strand Shrine with only 3 hearts
>Everybody finding such a small amount of Koroks
Do you guys just not care about them or genuinely can't find that many?
>Find a rock Korok
>Immediately drop the rock on it's head after the cutcene
>only
There's an old guy who walks you up the hill to it if you miss it bad enough, love this game
i cant imagine how frustrating it would be to look for the last korok once you got all 899 others
then what are the others for
...
