You cite some good points as something anecdotical but you don't mention how it manages to stay fun and fresh throughout those 30 hours and beyond in a genre that usually struggles with not burning out your interest after 10 hours. There's a lot of synergy among its mechanics and the variety of situations and attention to detail is insane.
That's why it's getting so much praise, man. It has just raised the bar for adventure games. And yes, it's better than anything so far 2017 and 2016.

I was hoping a vast world with many places that are not dungeons only. Like a closed area inside the open world. It's too lacking for a 4 year development unless Nintendo didn't give them enough money but I really think that is not the case.
I am very aware the attention to details but that's good for the first time you see it. It's great for "boom" factor and many PS4 games have many details like Uncharted 4 but lacks in content.

Well this poster is kind of correct in that most AAA games have really homogenized core mechanics and feel identical in how your character moves, crouches, jumps, and fights. The game structure also tends to stay the same with trends (super linear with lots of setpieces and cutscenes in 2008-2012, then open world with a lot of fetch quests and padding post-2013).
So I get where he's coming from when he says someone has been playing the same game even with a bunch of different IPs. And yeah, ragging on pure quantity ("only x number of dungeons?") is terrible as we all know every triple A release promises a fuckhuge number of everything and it's all fucking boring as shit ("Skyrim has infinite quests!").
But that's really oversimplifying it when Nintendo has made plenty of shit games too and he sounds like too much of a fanboy. He could have worded the point he was trying to make better

Zelda is their only franchise that tries something new. Unless you consider the Star Fox Zero gimmick controls that force you to use both tv and gamepad like "innovative"
