The funniest part about this thread is that in a few minutes some guy who thinks Earthbound is a masterpiece will call this game either SJW or a western AAA crap
But anyway, I'm going to play later. I'm in 32%. So far the game is 8/10 to me. The good thing is that there are very few cutscenes and most hours spent are on the gameplay itself.
I hope to play it again after I finish on hard because I want to see how it works.. the game is comfy after all.

Just got the plat, I wish the characters weren't so bad and the animations so jangy or it would be a 9/10. I hope the DLC explains what the fuck sylens is doing with HADES If they don't, I hope the sequel is more like Monster Hunter and less like Far Cry, if they can even try to make a good melee combat system

Every strategy guide I've ever bought has been a waste. Art books are where it's at.
Mate play with the HUD options, game is 10 times better if you turn things off, make them contextual, it's so overbearing
This game is beautiful and has some pretty lifelike characters.
It's just a shame about how the game segues between different bits of cutscenes. People jump between different bits of animation or have a 1-2 second walking animation for no reason that completely kills pacing and immersion. I get thats probably a byproduct of such a big game but it really pulls you out of all the other work that has been done.

I played 15 hours of this game and only went walking and fighting random matchines. Didn't touch any main quest past the one that unlocks the other half of the map.

Just finished the second cauldron. The game got a lot more fun when you are past the "learn-the-game-mechanics"-missions. It's a 9/10 so far, how the story pans will decide if it's a 10.

I don't have them yet, but there's some special weapons you get once you complete the all hunters lodge challenges with certain ratings.
Exploring the map with no objective. Seeing where i can get to by Skyrim hopping up the side of stuff is damn awesome.

Yea. It's pretty damn great. It's not lame like all the ubi games because the story is good, the combat is unique and good, the world is varied as fuck, and it's not a buggy mess. All the negative ubi comparisons are from cynics who try to sum up the game in an easy but incorrect way.
