I'd imagine it's still open world, as he had to get those troops from somewhere. If I remember right the first video they released for the first game was them attacking a fort as well.

They say it's an open world game in that video. The siege stuff seems to be an evolution of the nemesis system from the first game.
So it's not just "Oh, you burned me then I killed you, let's fight again" anymore.

i really like the nemesis system, but i hate what they are doing with lotr lore.
hope next game will be in some other universe

there's not much game here, but it looks cool i guess. all the cinematics would piss me off though, that stuff would be way better just happening in the background with maybe a focus prompt.

They also seemed to have turned it into some sort of musuo, but everytime you kill a small guy they give you a cinematic kill.

i am kind of confused by all this, everything looks so circumstantial in this game with no real gameplay, guess i'll have to keep an eye on it though cause chances are this impression isn't accurate

think it was just to demonstrate how some of the new systems work, obviously if you're playing with god mode it will look rather boring, playing it properly will be a lot more rewarding i guess

if it's anything like the first game, any grunt that kills you can become your nemesis. It probably will be harder to kill them in the real game unlike the video.

SoM ran really well on PC when it came out, obviously Batman was fucked, and still is to some extent, but I don't know if who did the PC port for both of them.

Just hoping as it looks like shit on that Xbox video it means the requirements wont fuck the PC in the ass.

Was sorta disappointed at the start when I saw the same animations and stuff at the start, but I got more impressed as the gameplay went on, armor system is cool, expanded nemesis system is great, and I cant think of mamy games where you get to ride dragons and breath fire on enemies below.

Nice to see them doubling down on the nemesis system though. It's the one legit great thing about the game. The story was shit. the actual core combat and traversal mechanics were serviceable at best and the open world bullshit was tedious. Good to know that they know what people actually liked.

Hopefully, they dial down the open world bullshit in this. I'm digging the whole mission/region thing already.

Looks good, but this clearly isn't representative of how it will really play out. How is he executing everyone without building up a combo? Not only that you can't see any health or stamina or anything. I mean in about 10 seconds he went from the start of the seige to the first leader. Still, I know I'm going to end up playing this game, but some actual gameplay footage would be nice.

Also, they used the word "epic" twice in the first 30 seconds. The word already has lost it's meaning in general, now it's becoming a meme.

I think they turned slow motion executions up just for cinematic purposes and put on god mode. Talion doesn't lose a single health point

I'm actually excited for this. Mordor was the only assassin creed-ish game I've ever enjoyed and this seems like it's going to expand everything in a enjoyable way.

My main problem with the Nemesis system is you eventually got to a point where you were so strong you didn't need to engage with it anymore. Having your brainwashed dude being able to shit talk and interact with your foes is cool as shit.

The fights seem much larger in scale and there a lot more particles compred to the first one, looks fine.
