I can't, it's trash. Pick up Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon instead. From gameplay and difficulty, it is flat out the best title.

that is letting the game off too easy. It isn't really shit, it is a flawed and buggy mess. It still has really cool ideas like DOEs and Forts. Calling it simply shit is implying there was nothing good about the game.

Don't get me wrong, EMD is not a good game

I like the idea of it, but it's not a great game. Shiren 3 is better for scratching the party based roguelike itch. I say this as a fan of both EO and Mystery Dungeon.

You can still hack your 3DS, even with the newest update, so get on it, no excuses.

I absolutely dislike the EO3 remixes in EMD. Although it's no surprise when EO3 has god tier FM

I like EO and played a couple of mystery dungeon games, I tought the combination of the two would be instant success, but it wasn't, game is comfy and shit but it's pretty average 5/10 buy for 10 bucks

it gives you more control of your party members compared to PMD. During Boss fights you get complete control of them

Actually, I even beat this game. That's pretty fucking rare with RPGs. I didn't even think it was that amazing, it was just... consistently good? And there was always that chance that something super cool might happen, I guess.

for exploring dungeons you would think that, but the extent of their control ranges from mostly their formation. your party members are complete retards and blow off their TP on basic enemies. Exploring dungeons you are more than likely just going to go solo Land(which is absurdly broken despite being the first class you have access to) or scout with solo Ninja and strictly take a party along for the stratum boss

I get the feeling that this is a common pitfall for these kinda games. Making teammates a fucking chore
