I wanna try it, but I'm not sure I'm ready to drop 20 bucks on it. Sup Forums hates it for no real reason, so that's probably good enough reason to give it a fair try.

I'd wait for it to be on sale for $10 or so if you want to pay for it. I enjoyed it enough, but unless you have been following its development for the past few years or you can relate heavily to the story or characters, it's better to just wait for a sale.

I really enjoyed it, but I could see waiting for a 5$ drop too.

Try looking up Longest Night and Lost Constellation to see if you're into the writing. They're free supplemental games made before NITW came out.

This is Sup Forums, user, I think you can rest assured that nobody jumps to "I will buy this as there is no other option" whenever they see a thread.

Buying games is only in fashion because people want to consolidate their media on Steam, which is a can of worms in itself.

I'll write out a slightly longer opinion than normally, despite no one probably caring.

It's really cute
The 'game' as it is wasn't much of a 'game' as it lacks on gameplay, but despite my first thoughts it was gonna be a really fur-baity game, I came to enjoy the characters and story way more than I expected to. This game is almost just an interactive story with slight platforming/exploration to it. I dunno if it was worth $20 but I enjoyed it the whole way through enough to not feel like I got screwed but I also have disposable income right now. If you guys don't mind 'Furry' characters, and wanna just play something kinda relaxing then it's cool. I have For Honor right now that I play for an actual GAME, and this game just to sit down and waste time on. Demon Tower in this game was fun too.

Hey, thanks. My backlog is pretty big right now, but I'm pretty sure this is something I'd like, and I'm not really playing anything on PC specifically so it seems like a good pickup.

I haven't heard of it before, but apparently it was made by a guy who worked on Crayon Physics, Aquaria and Paper Moon. However, the Kickstarter trailer looks very indie. Like, it so indie it would be embarrassing in fucking 2008. I'm getting mixed signals here.

It's a good length for something like that. I scoured the environments for all the events and spent maybe 9 hours on one run-through. There is a reason to play a second time, but with the familiarity and foreknowledge you build along with not having to go through side stuff you've already seen it'd probably be a lot shorter.
