I wish to find people who likes videogames IRL

>I wish to find people who likes videogames IRL

I interacted with someone who browses Sup Forums and Sup Forums. It was a decent interaction, no full sperging out or anything. That is until some autist overheard our conversation and asked if we browsed Sup Forums. He then proceeded to start spouting memes. Autism...not even once.

>Co-worker asks me what game im playing lately as half our staff are decently young, 19+ years old
>Mention dragonball,xenoverse, the new one
>Other newer co-worker hears me
>Suddenly thinks im into anime because i enjoy the DB games
>Continuous recommendations for anime out the ass
>Sword art, naruto, ones i can't even recall the name of that he said were about girls in high school so fuck knows which one it was etc
>Stands there talking about anime instead of working
>Talks snidely about those who don't play LoL/Dota as if he's on a higher plane of intelligence for playing them
>Always talks about how good he is at not feeding
>Does this to a co-worker who isnt even a gamer and is 50+ years old mother of 3
i'm fine with talking to new guys at work, but it's not exactly fun to stand and 'admire' your MOBA prowess while not letting others speak before putting your two cents in

>wear a cool mecha t-shirt
>new guy can't stop talking about anime and videogames the whole time
Feels good to find people passionate about the same nerd stuff but damn...talk about something else too.

>I wish no more shitty halfass so-call AAA shit, all games are quality games

>meet people IRL who play games
>they're always the "along for the ride" kind of casual and anything multiplayer is you either turning down the difficulty for them or picking up their slack
cmon man its video games they aren't hard like just block man cmon just hit the button man

it always happens, so many causals... or autistic mmorpg players

>Make friends at work
>They play some fighting games and talk about them
>Cool i play them too.
>Finally play them and they're complete and total dog shit like worse then my concept of a beginner with people i've taught.

The best they can do is play Souls games with some competence and those games aren't hard.

>Met this guy from Sup Forums
>Drive to his house 15 minutes away
>It's his mom's house
>She's a blue haired old lady
>He lives in the basement
>He's a consolefaggot
>He's really into nintendo
>He wants to play Mario Kart
>Haven't played that shit since it was on the super nintendo
>Mocks me for falling off rainbow road
>which, fine. Mock a bit, sure, but RAINBOW ROAD
>His angry weiner dog is just fucking growling at me nonstop
>Get in my car
>Go back to my terrible life
>Delete that dude
>Feel better about myself.

>Meet someone with my same interests
>They're either drool in shirt autistic and cannot function in society normally or facebook whorish normalfag who feels ashamed to be seen with you

Why is this always the case?
