I honestly think it's a completely different world from XC. And outside of themes the games will have nothing to do with each other.

then why call it xenoblade 2? they could have gone with other title if that was the case IMO

nah this one will definitly be the same universe as XC. Whether it's a sequel/prequel or on the same planet is a different story but considering the bundits and lizfos are back it's still the same world

At this moment its the only Switch game I'm mildly interested in. It looks like Tales of Xenoblade right now.

It's the world that Shulk created. Shulk will probably appear at some point but play a minor role. How these things usually go

Gameplay and character depth of XCX and story of Chronicles, I'll buy it day one. Also, bring back Ace+. Sawano's music is hit or miss, with Gundam Unicorn being his magnum opus.
