Switch has sold 1.5m worldwide

Using data supplied to it by both Famitsu and GfK, SuperData says that 500,000 consoles were sold in the US, 360,000 were sold in Japan while Europe 'isn't far behind'. The data tracker observes that 85,000 units were sold in the UK while France managed 110,000.

>SuperData says 89% of Switch owners have bought the new Zelda game - which amounts to 1.34m in sales (and does not include sales of the Wii U version).

If those technical issues were so big I wanna know how many switch were returned and refunded

Thicc indeed, who this is and why is it more relevant than your post?

sauce

>1.5m consumers tell Nintendo they'll pay $500+ for one single game
I wonder what the future of gaming will look like.

They weren't.

You're mum.

>$360 is greater than $500
I wonder what the future of sonybro math will look like.

>Complaining about retards buying Nintendo Switch's on a Nintendo board
c'mon now lmao

>Nintendo board

This is a PC board nigga, check your facts.

Melissa Debling

>Fanboys and idiots are stupid enough to buy a system at launch

Literally the PS4 all over again.

Friendly reminder that the wii u sold 2 million units during the first week.

youtube.com/watch?v=BAuyomHWl_w
Tell me more about you Nintendo fags won't buy every single accessories Nintendo shits out.

Keep your CEMU shit to your own threads

>strip tease shit
Well fuck

>Only 1.5m

This is going to bomb harder than the Wii U.

How much did the Wii U sell at launch?

3 million

Sure they did

My walmart says hello,, please buy this piece of shit, cause no one else is

20 million

kys fag
was that the response you were baiting for, attention seeking retarded kiddy?

So? PS4 has sold upwards of 75 million worldwide when taking Pro and Slim into account.

>Giving a number without giving a source to it

fuck off nigger.

Nintendo has been making cashgrab accessories since the power glove. Most of them are phased out in a gen.

melisa debling or some shit like that.

they're all our own threads, buddy

nintendo.co.jp/ir/library/historical_data/pdf/consolidated_sales_e1212.pdf

The other 11% bought the switch to re-sell

PS4 at least had exclusives on launch

That's actually pretty impressive. Nintendo was expecting 2 mil for the whole month of March so it looks like they'll surpass expectations.

It's out of stock in most places. Nintendo sent out a low amount fearing that it would be a repeat of the Wii U.

>le anecdotal evidence

Link says the page doesn't exist, try again.

Having one good exclusive at launch is not a very high bar to set, user. That's like saying "at least it doesn't catch on fire"!

God, you're still mad

Because Nintendo wants to delete every trace of the Wii U.

It had two and neither were very good.

lol

you would lick her spit from the ground in real life if she told you to, homo

You make radical claims without any proof. The Wii U did not sell 3 mil week one, no fucking way. When I bought mine at launch the store was literally empty. No one was buying them. I really think this "Wii U had a great launch" thing is just a bad rumor at this point. I've never seen any actual evidence of the claim and it doesn't fit with what I saw at all.

That was the PDF that held sales data for the Wii U and its software sales.

I mean honestly I don't think either thing is wise, the switch does have some great games secured but right now it's literally only zelda.

Anyone who doesn't understand how this happened probably had a full-blown aneurysm back when the PS4 started selling though

I'm googling it right now and the first real result says the Wii U sold 890k in 6 weeks. At this rate I would expect the Switch to reach around 2.2mil at that point, 2 mil at the absolute lowest. So in reality the Wii U sold less than half of the Switch and it did so in a holiday period as opposed to March.

By the way, sorry for replying twice, but I want to point out where our discrepancy is probably coming from. What you were looking at is probably shipped numbers. The difference between shipped and sold is that the shipped number is what was sent to retailers. The sold number on the other hand is what consumers actually bought. So Nintendo shipped out a few million Wii U's but only around 900k actually sold from the first batch in 6 weeks. Video game companies are notorious for putting shipped numbers in their financial data to look stronger than they are. I know Sony has done that a lot.

Sale threads on Sup Forums are only subhuman scum being mad a other people for wasting money on things they like, anyone can say If sales are good for someone who doesn't give a fuck about numbers in vidya.

...

At least the handheld only Switch will sell a lot

>will share library with the console
>will most likely be released late next year
>will probably have better battery life and no detachable Joycons
>lower price point
>Switch should have a hefty library of games by then

They should have just made Switch a handheld in the first place instead making it a weak ass console with gimmicks.

wii u sold 890k worldwide in 6 weeks dumbfuck

Seems good considering it released outside holiday sesson however i find hard to belice tge us only got 500k consideribg id mostlybsold out.
Then again these are protections

Good start.

Hope MK8D does well

The sales data you're pointing to were from the quarter, which including Xmas, not a week.

You want to try typing out that post again?

Phone posting.

Not even once.

All the data I'm finding points to 400k America, 300k Japan and no numbers for Europe

WiiU sold same amount of units, if memory serves me right

hmmm, really makes you think.

>had exclusives on launch
>TLU remaster
>the promise of getting bloodborne in 1 year and a half latter
>the promise of getting uncharted 4 2 years later
>the promise of getting SFIV 1 year latter
>the promise of getting persona 5... one day
>and knack
damn, how could anybody compete

and that's only for the first weekend

I played 700 hours of BB, if a game like BB comes out every 3 years, I'll be happy.

I wanna call them retarded but if a good Paper Mario game came out I would have done that too.

Shit. It'll start going down now.

It didn't have anything but indies for a whole year

PC the real platform for BotW. All it needs is to be fully emulated now and many more people start playing it.

I wonder how many switches have been broken, defective, returned cause no value?

Paying $500 for 1 game is one thing, but paying $500 for a game that ruins your favorite action adventure franchise and effectively repurposes it as a sandbox game with shit gameplay variety is another thing entirely.

Nintendo's Bait & Switch was just too stupid even for Nintendo to have benefited.

engadget.com/2012/11/26/nintendo-wii-u-first-week-sales/

Wii U sold 475K in US's first week. 600K counting all of Americas.

In effect a Wii U repeat in terms of sales.

This is going to be the fastest console death ever. I'm pretty annoyed they're locking a new Mario game away on this turd when there's no reason it couldn't have run on Wii U.

>1 game
I already bought 4
took me 3 years to buy 4 PS4 games because nothing good came out.

That image is a little backwards Nintenbro.

0/10 meme is dead and disproven.

Retard.

>worthwhile ps4 games that came out before 2017

>2013
>....
>2014
>....
>2015
>Bloodborne
>2016
>Ratchet and Clank
>Dragon Quest Builders

How is that a meme?

Nigger do you have the Auts?

>Ratchet and Clank
>worthwhile

List some games then. You can even copy my formatting if you want.
Yeah. It was quite shit in retrospec. Don't know why all the NPC cutscenes were static as they were. Like they never moved from one place. Hell I replayed the original after and the animation in that was thousands fold better than the remake. Only good thing about the remake was the visuals. They even ruined the music.

What games have you bought for your switch thus far user

Welcome to Nintendo. You like their games? Then you have to accept that they want to force you to buy the maximum amount of their hardware possible.

Zelda
Snipperclips
Blaster Master
Shovel Knight even though I already got it on PC.

Played much of anything but Zelda yet?

Yeah. I play Snipperclips nightly with my gf in bed. I cleared area 4 of Blaster Master and only played the start of the new shovel knight story.

strange, doesn't look much different

>Europe isn't far behind
>about half the copies sold in Japan
>1/3 of US sales
wew
e
w

shhh let him have his moment

how many people bought Bloodborne Machine again?

>They weren't.

bullshit, we all know how easily the dock can scratch the screen.

kek

what

?
It had two exclusives on launch. All I said and it's 100% true, there is nothing here you can dispute.

>superdata

It's nothing .

Got plenty of friends with switches now who say there's no scratching issues whatsoever, and that the people who are scratching them must be pulling them out on an angle.

Granted, I don't think that my buddies have been using docked mode very much, but I'll take their word on it.

Thats pretty pathetic number, PS4 did 1 million in 1 day alone in US

Also the fact that 89% of them bought it for 1 game - Zelda, the future drought and non existence online will kill the little momentum it has
