What´s Sup Forums's opinion on the Deathadder elite?

I use a deathadder chroma, it's alright.

FPBP

Mouse's shape is good but the materials are cheap and the synapse thing that requires you to log in with your e-mail to setup the mouse is fucked up
Get a g403 instead

Just watch rocketjumpninja's review and top picks on yt, he actually knows shit when it comes to mice

if your mouse has an LED logo you shouldn't buy it

Until it starts to double-click in a year, yeah, it's pretty good.

This nigga is right

> razer

chink quality meme mouse

>Until it starts to double-click in a year

That's how you know it's cheap quality chink shit. Not that it has great click latency in the first place.

Razer is basically the Apple of gaming mouse and keyboards. overpriced and shitty.

I hate razer products but I own the deathadder 2013 for years now and it didn't break as of yet.

However, my biggest gripe with Razer is that there are no drivers for this thing. When you go to their website, it links you to Razer Synapse, a spyware that doesn't even update your mouse's drivers so it's essentially useless.

Here's the thing though: when I upgraded to Windows 10, I noticed issues where my mouse would often double click even though I only clicked once. I figured my mouse was broken so I googled fixes and I found a Youtube video with a newer driver for the thing that fixes the issue.

I had to open a fucking youtube video to get a new driver for my mouse and the driver is not available ANYWHERE else because they ONLY send you driver updates when you have issues with your product and ask for them through support.

Next time I'm going Zowie.

Death adder is the only good thing razer makes and it's fucking fantastic.

>I noticed issues where my mouse would often double click even though I only clicked once.

That's not a windows 10 issue or a driver issue. It's a widespread issue that everyone has because the mouse is just a cheap shitty product. Their mouses will start to double click after half a year. Their mouses are really no different than cheap 1 dollar mouses you buy from china.

Suckers like you fall for the Razer meme and buy it because you think it's premium gaming hardware.

it's not really a gaming mouse unless it has 12 buttons on the side, and a 2nd right click to shift the 12 buttons into another set of 12 functions.

im not kidding

Then how did the issue go away as soon as I updated the driver? Did you read my post?

whats the difference with 2013 deathadder?

I actually bought a Deathadder after doing research on good mice. The 2013 is literally the only good product razer makes you dumb nigger, shit's also recommended in the Sup Forums wiki.

Also, you sound like some jaded little cunt and you don't stand above razer products you dumb little shit. I had the double click issue as well and the 1.04 driver fixed it.

Take your personal vendetta somewhere else you fucking autist.

>you
>reading comprehension

I have a Chroma, and the main thing I think it's missing is on-the-fly DPI switching, so the Elite seems pretty sweet.

deathadder 2013 is definitely one of the best models. i recently replaced one (it wasn't mine, had to give it away) and it lasted a couple years before the middle mouse broke and double clicking started.

i have a chroma now, hoping it'll last as long. so far it's alright; it may have some double clicking soon down the line but that happened to my deathadder and it went away after a couple days.

Not enough buttons

i love my gaming mouse (pic related), the 12 face buttons have become indispensable, its the best way to switch weapons in FPS games, and i've even used the face buttons for more primary functions, such as alt-fire weapons, grenade tossing. etc. i've never used the G-shift click function, mainly because the only mmo i play is ESO and they have a more casual move-set, not all those dozens and dozens of commands like most other mmos.

i also use a razer tartarus, because holy fuck its so awesome to use my thumbs for more than just the space bar, it's what pc gaming was always missing

(pic related)

Bought a razer death adder and a keyboard some time ago, they both broke within 4 years. Also the keyboard felt cheap as hell. Haven't bought razer since then because the quality doesn't match the price they charge.

Awful, like all razer products. I don't know why, but they always feel really cheap and flimsy.

I want one of those. What do you use your thumb for?

I had the MS Habu variation way back in 2006 and brother has the most recent DA.

They feel fantastic in the hand, but shitty driver support and brother's left click button recently snapped so whelp.

so the spacebar is jump obviously, and the button located above the circle-hat thing i use for crouch in most games, wayyy better than using ctrl for crouch. the circle hat has an 8/4 way directional function, i usuall just use those for like inventory screens and other menus, but occasionally i'll use one of the directions for grenades, or fire-mode switching, stuff like that, and it works great, i never use the 8 way mode, but in 4 way mode i very rarely press a direction that i didnt intend to

pretty good
if this mouse broke, I would just buy it again
also in my experience, it's easy to repair common issues like 2 years in because everyone and their grandmother owns a deathadder and has made youtube maintenance videos on this mouse
I'm too used to the mouse settings and it would fuck up my quake/tribes/tf2 twitch reaction if I bought a mouse with slightly different sensitivity settings

Who Naga Hex V3 here? Really mad they didn't add a little bump over [1] like the nubs on the L earbud or the nub on F and J buttons.

My almost 2 year old Deathadder 2013 edition started double clicking last week, now I'm thinking of buying a new one but I'm not sure if I should get the same shit. Any other mice, preferebly not from razer, that have the same shape as a deathadder?

Open it up and reshape the metal contacts so they have some spring again.

Double clicking fixed.

it's not a video game
