WoW used to have some of the best crafting imo. Had various weapon/armor specializations, crafted gear could last you well through a raid tier, entry level pvp gear could be made, the best resist gear had to be crafted... damn shame they back pedaled so damn hard on it. Outside of vanity shit like mounts and pets/toys it's a waste.
