DmC is unironically a better game than DMC4, only rabid fanboys and weebs are unable to see this. Too bad Sup Forums is mostly made of rabid fanboys and weebs.
Having the best gameplay of your genre isn't enough if you are literally half a game with tremendous backtracking and cringeworthy anime-tier plot.

The team is full of talented artists, shame literally every game they make flops for unrelated reasons

I unironically like DMC better than DmC 3, yeah the combat isn't as good but its DMC is more fun.

What was the final Sup Forumserdict on DmC? Keep in mind I give no shits about the original games--Played the first one at launch and the second one years later and found both to be decent to meh (especially the sequel). I do---however--enjoy other CUHRAZZY titles like Bayonetta and MGS:R.

There's exactly 1 combo vid of DmC compared to DMC3 and DMC4's tournaments (and most people making them are nips, they don't go on Sup Forums)

The only boss fights that got praised was Bob Barbas, which is an overhaul from DMC3's worst boss (Leviathan)

The problem is there's nothing impressive you can do with it, which is evident in the vid itself. There's no Guard Flying, Sword Hanger, Crazy Buffering, etc.

Last I checked, which was years ago, more than half of TST4's videos were missing, and previous three were all lost to history. I'll see what I can find, and you can look up TrueStyle Tournament on your own in the meantime.
