Honestly, it's nearly impossible to tell. Tried it out on Dynasty Warriors and Ninja Gaiden and don't have issues. Looking forward to see how ps4 titles run on it.

...

They wanted 19.99 USD for it, Fuck that.

Yeah, it's a little steep. But I've been enjoying the Ninja Gaiden series, and never got to play Killzone. I'll just end the 7 day trial before the bill me. Maybe go back if the ps4 titles are good.

Ah, Sony doing their best to fully destroy gaming as a hobby.

>more games on more platforms is "destroying gaming"

How so?

I stopped browsing Sup Forums for a couple of weeks, what is this? Can I play PS4 games on the computer now? If the answer is yes, isn't it clear that PC would be the absolute best platform?

Why would I want a ps4 if i can play shit on my PC?

Can I play older titles on psn through this, does it link to psn account?

How to get the free trial? Do I need a PlayStation? I kind of want this

Yes, but only select titles and it's steaming. But the ps3 exclusives are the uncharted series, Killzone series, God of War series, Twisted Metal, Sly Cooper series, and Ratchet and Clank. And I'm sure I'm missing some.
Yes.

You're fucking stupid enough to pay for a gaming streaming service? On top of PS plus?
If I were your dad I'd be taking all these little toys away from you. You clearly aren't responsible enough to handle money.

>streaming games

So the future of gaming will be Netflix

>How so?

What do you think is going to happen as soon as lots of people subscribe to this shite?

The industry's dream is that everything is streamed, everything needs a subscription, and the filthy customer owns nothing at all anymore. PC-nigger proof.

Not as long as piracy exists. There's a reason it's growing every day.

>in department study area
>2 normies talking about video games
>one of them says he really wants a switch because the zelda game is getting 10/10 from everyone
>chat with them about gaming for a bit
>one of them says he doesn't game on consoles anymore, he only uses his ps4 as a Netflix machine

I thought of you today Sup Forums

Do you just say stuff and believe it?

>Not as long as piracy exists.

How would you pirate, when you do not get any software or data anymore and just a video + audio stream?

You wouldn't own games at all anymore. It would be like with online multiplayer parts of a game, but way worse.

>Sony is killing the gaming industry because "the filthy customer owns nothing at all anymore"
I bet you're a Mustard race who extensively uses Steam and honestly can't see the irony in your words.

Our exclusives!!!

>I bet

kek
Steam
kek

I actually own tons and I mean tons of physical games. Even for PC from the glorious days only. Because I like actually owning my games.

In case I was stupid enough to buy PC games digitally, then I would buy them from GOG and not from the fat Valve-Kike w/ online DRM attached.

Daily reminder

What the fuck man is this really real?

Onlive is Sony?

Woah, you're telling me I can play Playstation games on my PC?
Neat.

I just tried it out, works great. Webm related.

>Overwatch
>steam
>streams PS4 games on his cuck machine

truly the face of PC Gaming.

reverse image search. Not mine senpai. :^)

>Who goes out of business
Shocker

>Plan to use 7 day free trial
>Complete Uncharted series, Resistance 3, Killzone 2 and 3, Last of us, God of War series, infamous and Siren Blood Curse
>All without a single cent paid to Sony

Heheh

What emulator

How fast would you recommend my internet be in-order to use this?

about this fast:

VROOOOOOOSH!!!!!

Sony bought onlive

Delet

If you can complete all of those in such a short space of time, you may want to evaluate your life.

Sony bought Gaikai too

Easter holidays baby

If it makes you feel better user, I might start paying a subscription once more ps4 games get added.

or just bloodborne

Changes nothing. Get a social life.

It's on pc now

How the fuck can people stand streaming games? Whether that be from this service, or the psvita thing or whatever. The input lag from a standard HDTV is enough to make games completely miserable to play, I can't imagine how entirely unplayable it would be via streaming

You won't be able to stomach the 30FPS, I just tried.

I can deal with low FPS user so no worries there. A sonybro friend of mine tried this out on his shitty laptop and said the streaming service was quite smooth with minor drops here and there.

I know it's
>Works on my machine
But I tried Ninja Gaiden just for that reason and to see if the lag was bad. It is not. It's nearly impossible to tell. Maybe it'll vary on people internet speed.

>console performance capped at 720p

Some games have it worse than others. But more importantly. It's PS3/4 games. It's gonna run like shit either way. Games are already laggy enough where you probably won't notice that big of a difference.

Fuck I hate montly shit, just make me pay 100 buck and that's it. I just find annoying to pay just to get back into a game some months after you first played it. Also I like to feel the games being "mine"

That's 16 games if you count the GoW PSP games + ascension. 24 hours a day * 7 days is 168 hours. If you played for a week straight with no sleep, each game would have to average 10 hours a piece to keep pace. Infamous definitely isn't 10 hours long, closer to 15. There's literally no human way possible to do what you're attempting to do.

>sonnygers can't take a joke

You're fucking retarded if you think this streaming shit will ever overtake normal digital purchases.

The games are already out, thousands. 30 years worth of games.

You say that but Netflix and streaming is incredibly popular.

>windows not in virtualbox
At least you tried.

Are television shows interactive?

>Complete Uncharted series, Resistance 3, Killzone 2 and 3, Last of us, God of War series, infamous and Siren Blood Curse
Do you believe rushing through a dozen games in a week is worth something? Do you call that "entertainment"?
I don't understand this PC mindset.

>ever
Definitely eventually user.

Normies love streaming and don't care about shit like that, and they have the money.

I can sit here as long as I like having the files to my music and movies but the supply is going to get thinner and thinner and the people in the piracy scene age.

The exact same will happen in the video game industry.

>Physical media will always be dominant
>We will always have the game files

I wish user, I wish

It will when the technology gets to where it needs to be.

>but the supply is going to get thinner and thinner and the people in the piracy scene age.
stop being retarded.

No, it won't.

Please, offer a counter argument.

How can you be stupid enough to not understand the trends?

No. But when has that ever stopped people?

People don't want good games. They want epic set pieces and Fifa.

Already completed gow 1+2+psp titles to be fair so I'll just cut that fat out. I just want to dedicate a week to playing vidya and having fun

You sound like one of those LANfags back in the day.

>I can sit here as long as I like having the files to my music and movies but the supply is going to get thinner and thinner and the people in the piracy scene age.
I've gotten older already.
I don't fucking care for (((Hollywood))) anymore. I've seen all of their cinema and TV flicks with every story already told by different actors in different settings.
I started buying music on CDs, I haven't downloaded or streamed a MP3 file in a decade.
I might get into Vinyls, too.
I just got into Japanese video games.

Streaming hasn't lessened the availability of digital downloads at all, fuckwit.

You're an idiot.

>You're an idiot.
So are you. So we should get along.

Fuck off retard

Right after you nigger nogger.

Good thing half those are shit so he'll probably drop them two hours in

That's true, but the average "normie" probably doesn't play the stuff nearly as much as they consume TV/movies/music. So it stands to reason that a monthly fee for games is going to be a tougher sell to them than a one and done purchase

>So hey, does this mean that I can now finally play PS3 games on my PS4?
>Nope! Only PC has the ability to play both PS3 and PS4 games.
>but...
>I said fuck off, mate. Thanks for the $400.

Playstation Now is also on ps4.

Now that just makes no sense.

Means those PS3 games can be played on the PS4 using the same streaming service.

never forget that PS4 is not and will never be backwards compatible with PS3 games

that was not a jew lie to get you to pay for ps now

im sure you play all those DOS games on a daily basis

i'm sure they'll work on windows 10+

i'm sure there's enough parts to repair a 386 in 20 years

we all get fucked in the ass user its just a different dick

DOS games run fine on a phone, because they are emulated.
A modern PC cannot run them natively.
Anybody who needs phone games to rectify a PC is in a very desperate situation.

Whats with needing a ds4?

Any software to get around this?

...

he's using a capture card.

and almost certainly not playing whilst watching the output on his pc, far too latent.

like netflix except for games. if they have a better price, i might get it later on.

Do we actually have a comparison video or at least webm of actual ps3/4 vs ps now?

youtube.com/watch?v=UQqA1KEKETA

now I don't have to buy a PS4.

fuuuuuuuck yeeeeees.

I would honestly rather pay $50 a month to play PS4 exclusives on my PC.

So what is this, exactly? 20 dollars a month for most PS4 games, but capped at 30 fps 720p? I still don't know what the hell this even is.

That's it. Some exclusives here and there. We don't know what ps4 titles there will be though.
That's not too bad honestly

>20$
what purpose? i got an used ps3 and hacked it for that price

If it ever gets exclusives I'd do it. I don't feel like buying a PS4 or dealing with console bullshit.
