Should SEGA return to the console market?

Should SEGA return to the console market?

>wanting another useless propitiatory hardware to play Sega exclusives

Would it make a difference? It's not like they give a shit about most of their franchises, except Sanic, Yakuza, Project Diva and Daytona apparently.

They would if they had a reason to, ie their own console to market it on

Nah. Sega's best games are in arcades at the moment. That's good enough.

This, three consoles is way more than enough in this market

No. They need to focus on making games before they can focus on making a console.

I didnt know Yakuza 0 was in the aracdes.

>everyday we have threads bitching about how people have to buy a nintendo console to buy nintendo games
>everyday we have threads begging sega to do the same thing
zozzle

Nah. That time is past. I'd rather they focus on game development/publishing.

Could they even if they wanted to?

consoles are obsolete.

WTF I thought we were unanimous in all our opinions

At this point, it's incredibly hard to get into the console market and be successful. Only way I could see it working maybe is if they revive a bunch of older IP's, and they're actually good.

STOP. NO SPIRALS.

Japanese arcades, user. 95% of us are being told to get fucked. And no Project Diva doesnt count.

They own Atlus.

No

They can hardly handle the software market

Sega fans are delusional. We would have threads just lounge this if Nintendo did drop out of hardware though.

Sure why not.

the dream is dead

It's just a few of them. Even most sega fans are sick of these threads.

Being a true sega fan is about knowing suffering and pain. The kind of optimism and trust "sega should make a new console!" fags espouse, betrays their weak fanhood.
