If you read the books you understand her personality better. Admittedly the games kinda make her look like super bitch, but in reality she's a very, very good person. Just eccentric and blunt. Kind of a mild tsun in a way.

Like, her whole character is how toxic she can be towards those that care about her, and the game explores why she is that way. It never presents how she acts as being a good thing, even after it shows how shitty things have been for her. It's soley up to the player to choose how to react, whether its to stick by her all the way, or to basically tell her to get fucked.
