What did Hyrule warriors launch's with character wise? Wasn't it around 10~ if I'm going by 10 slots on release I'd say

Camilla is the most recognizeable wyvern rider in the series currently, so if they want to put in a token wyvern rider it would probably be her. I would personally want haar as a pure wyvern Lord tho.

Well, Lyn/ryoma is your Swordmaster, sigurd/ Xander is a Paladin, Hector is your General, Ike/Roy could be hero, Ephraim could be your soldier....

I see what your saying about class/weapon variety though, but I think they will frontload lords and have wyvern lords, peg knights, manaketes etc. as dlc. Although I bet Tiki or a og donut steal dragon will be at launch.

I'd like to see a light shone on some more villains and obscure characters like they did with HW, but FE has so many main characters that they might not be able to do that so much.

The only people I know will be on there for sure is anyone who is playable in Smash or in #FE, and Hector and Ephraim. I hope they at least do what Dissidia does and have a Lord and villain combo from every game.

Who's the most iconic of each class? I don't like him, but I can see Takumi repping bows. The whole legendary weapon + wind arrow thing fits a musou pretty well, and he's pretty recognizable.

Well my dude HW started out as a massive OoT pander + recent games (TP and SS) characters. In Fire Emblem terms this would mean Marth, Tiki and FE13/14 (maybe 15 if we're lucky) stuff. The only problem is Fire Emblem's cast is MASSIVE compared to Zelda's, so some people are bound to be angry.

I'm just hoping for Xander and Hector. Those two are my safest hopes.

Xander was in the trailer for Heroes and he isn't playable. Or at least wasn't when I was still paying attention to that game. The only sibling in both routes of Fates who wasn't playable even though he was in the trailer.

There's no way in any hell that a game like FE is going to have a small roster of playable characters, especially with Musou. Hyrule Warriors needed to invent movesets for all manner of odd exotic LoZ weapons for characters who normally don't fight anything like they would in a Musou game. Almost every FE character fights with one of 6-10 weapons.

There is no reason to assume we're going to get anything absolutely unique for any individuals, considering all of them would fight either the exact same, or similarly in a game like this, and they can just reuse DW/SW assets for most of it, considering how many "Sword" types there are in DW and SW.

Instead of swinging they can surely give her more of a fencing/jabbing style. There have been plenty of Sword users all through the Warriors series, surely they can come up with another moveset.

I mean, I can't remember flying mounts like Pegasus/Wyverns in any Warriors game before. Heck s lot of the units on FE don't have mounts. Also I wonder if they'll keep General units being slow by making them unable to run.
