The greatest kart racing game ever made

The greatest kart racing game ever made.

That's not Mario Kart 8.

You literally have less than 2 brain cells if you think any MK game is better or more polished than CTR

Double Dash, Wii, DS, and 8 are all better

>there will never be a CTR remake with online multiplayer

Oh, so you're a mongoloid then? Gotcha

>Crash Bandicoot is getting a remake compilation game
>CTR isn't a part of it

That's not Mickey Speedway USA.

Mario Kart 8 isn't even the best Mario Kart, let alone the best kart racer on a Nintendo system, let alone the best kart racer every made.

It is you who is the mong, sama chan

The only kart racing game I played was CTR during my Nintendo drought, 3 to 4 years, it was fun and all but nothing compared to MK8, hell it is even less fun than MK64.

CTR is clearly a MK clone, the only thing it added was drifting and being able to shake off TNT boxes.

The levels were uninspired and the characters, well, nothing special.

MK8 is unbelievable beautiful.

Literally ripped its GUI from MK64
Woah

I never really played CTR back then, even though I was a big PSX fan. Mostly because I'd rather play Gran Turismo 2 and watch how people would pick a Ford Mustang and spin around High Speed Ring's third corner while I lapped them three times on some Peugeot FWD shitbox.

Around that time Mario Kart 64 was big, but game mechanics were garbage. It had nice courses though. Diddy Kong Racing is superior in every way. One thing I don't like about it is that most characters are garbage (Conker is slow and stupid, Pipsy had GOAT acceleration but the top speed was ridiculous).

I'd say out of every Kart racing game I've played the best one is a toss between Sonic & Sega AllStars Racing Transformed and Diddy Kong Racing.

CTR was obviously copying Mario Kart, but the boost system alone makes it a better overall game. Adds a bigger element of skill to the game

>The only kart racing game I played was CTR during my Nintendo drought, 3 to 4 years,

Editing was a mistake.

The only kart racing game during my Nintendo drought was CTR, it lasted from 3 to 4 years.

Shit it came out worse. But you get the idea.

But that doesn't make it a better game, like I said, it was good, me and my cousins had countless hours of fun with CTR, but in the end, it was the poor man's MK.

The dream kart racer would be a mixture of Crash Team Racing and Burnout. Keep the mini-boost drifting system and wacky courses, and reward players for shunting each other into traffic.

DKR, Sonic Racing Transformed, and Double Dash are all superior.

No one gives a fuck about Crash.

Literally no one.

This

:^)

>No one gives a fuck about Crash.
>Literally no one.

Now you're just showing your true colors of a mad nintenbro.

Game looks like shit and even if you get close to a wall you see through it.
It literally looks like one of those crappy cereal box games that was made in 1h.

There are other kart racing gamea with a drift system that makes them competitive. People lauding it has the greatest of all time have never played anything else at a higher than casual level. Go to a couple tournaments and see, there's more out there than CTR.

>There are other kart racing gamea with a drift system that makes them competitive.

Such as

That's not Mickey's Speedway USA

>tfw got mednafen and finally get to play all those psx games
>playing this shit in 2017
The last time I played CTR I didn't even know English

MKDS. Boosting from drifts came so easy. The technique most people used to get ahead was called snaking.

Mario Kart has always been the carpet of kart racing games. They get rolled out first, but only for other games to be walked over almost immediately. I'd play anything over Mario Kart, from CTR to Sonic Transformed to Blur. I am enjoying Mario Kart 8 so far but we haven't gotten a non-Nintendo successor yet.

Imagine actually believing all that bullshit you just typed, sad!
