I can't say I love this game. It's charming, but it still feels very bare and the fact that you can't build your own vehicles Lego Racers style is a sin.

The Minecraft/free build mode is still there, it's just gated. You've gotta find 100 gold bricks to unlock that mode, which is a pain in the ass.

I've got that. It's only really a display model the hood, doors and spoiler are incredibly fragile.

No, it's there from the start. 100 gold bricks unlocks the ability to make worlds with your choice of biomes and creatures.
