So nier comes out tomorrow on PC. I am not a combo master, I hate games like mortal kombat X and tekken for example. I was really bad in blazblue too for example.
Will I like nier and will it be fun for someone like me? I am very good in dark souls 3 though and I love the playstyle.

It's really not difficult at all. You have Light attack and Heavy attack, that chain up to however many hits your weapon allows (based on weapon type and how far you've upgraded it). Along with that you have attacks coming out of dashes, attacks from perfect evades, charged attacks and I'm probably missing a few things beyond that. Actually I know 2B and A2 have mix attacks depending on what your weapon and sub weapon are, so there's that as well.
But nothing that requires fighting game levels of comboing. If you wanna mash, you can mash.
It's button mashing game made by platinum. The gameplay is mash attack and dodge if you see tells. The story carries the weight of the game.
2B is shit compared to A2 anyways.

Dodge an attack and press light attack and it would flow nicely?

Balance in the game is kind if wonky. Normal is way too easy but hard mode is "everything kills you in 1 hit" tier There is no in between.

Feels artificial as fuck at first because you don't have access to many good chips especially in the shooting segments so you'll get your anus exploded a lot in the early game (at least thats how it was for me) but becomes a bit more manageable later on once you get the NotWitch time chips and some other stuff.
