I just beat LoZ: Breath of the Wild and got the true ending.

Ask me anything.

did you enjoy it?

How do you manage to force yourself to play shit games?

>I cant afford it so its shit

lol

Not only did I enjoy it, I believe it is one of the greatest games I have ever played. If not the greatest Legend of Zelda game ever made.

Of course, I'm still going to play it since I found out my completion percentage is only at 19%, and that's after what has to be close to over 100 hours of game time.

Where can you see your completion rate?

What is the true ending? Mine was where Link and Zelda were looking at the castle saying they're gonna rebuild but it will take time, etc. Is that the true ending? I got all the memories before beating it.

Once you complete the main quest, you get booted back to the main menu. On the save files, you will notice a new save was created right before the final boss battle with a star on it. Load up that save file and on the map you will see a percentage completion on the bottom left.

i think the seeds were somewhere around 75% and the rest is 25%. i think it is bullshit that they did not give the seed less weight.

In order to unlock the true ending, you must have tamed all four Divine Beasts and collected all your memories. You will get the traditional ending after the main boss fight, then the true one after the credits where they are in Hyrule Field talking.

Yes. And you should check out other translations of the true ending because the English one isn't really communicating well what Zelda felt so happy about.

What makes you call it the 'greatest LoZ' game ever?

Playing through it I noticed that other games in the series did things such as the OST and Storytelling elements way better.

I did all the shrines and now im gonna updgrade the tunic of the wild gear then finally i will do the side quests.
I dont think i can stomach doing 900 seeds, ive done like 100 and i barely see those fuckers anymore.

The true ending is pretty disappointing tbqh

I'm calling it the greatest LoZ game ever because it has the most dynamic gameplay out of the entire series. From the very beginning (after the tutorial to be exact), you have the freedom to do what you want and how you want. You have the ability to complete the main quest by facing Ganon immediately or go on your own adventures that will sink in potentially hundreds of hours.

I cannot think of any other Zelda title that does that.

someone posted today the reward for the seeds and it was literally a turd with no function. you should also cap all your inventories before you get them all so there is no point. more so it is retarded that 75% is just the seeds.

Did it take more than 20 mins

True ending?

From my beginning to the "end", it took me what feels like over 100 hours.

who cares?

For me because OST and Storytelling were below gameplay. I always went for the Zelda franchise because of the sense of wonder that each game gave me. Which created a need for exploration. Each 3D Zelda fulfilled that need differently, and every single one of them got compared to OoT.

Breath of the Wild is very easily the best Zelda game in that regard. And to such a huge margin that it feels like a new OoT in how every subsequent game should try to improve on what BotW did. And there's a lot to work on because the game is not perfect.

There are two endings in the game. The true ending for taming all four Divine Beasts and gathering all your memories, and the alternative ending for not completing all those prior tasks.

I have no idea what the alternative ending is.

The true ending is just the post-credits scene. It doesn't change anything, just adds extra.

you can check the playtime in your profile.

SPOIL IT NAO

>or more
What, it doesn't give the exact amount played?

>got the true ending
what is the true ending. and what is the not true ending?

OP here again, thanks for that tid bit. I had no idea. I'm still learning all there is to my Switch.

I think it means more than 95 but less than 96

Where does the game take place on the time line?

You can read my earlier statements when people have already asked that same question.

>19%
nigga did you even play the game
how many shrines and seed did you even get

4 beasts
120 shrines
303 koroks
49.56%

It takes place the farthest on the timeline. Near the Zora Domain there are large plaques on walls that talk about the history of the domain. One of them talks about over 10,000 years ago there was a zora princess named Ruto (from Ocarina of Time).

I just really love exploring. I'll get more of those shrines and seeds done in time. I'm in no hurry.

I stopped looking for Koroks after 30ish. By then I had nothing but savage lynel and ancient weapons so I didn't feel like extra weapon slots were worth it. Those things are strong and last a while, then I just replenish them when the blood moon hits.

Fucking ewwww. I can't find any of the memories other than the one near Hyrule Castle. All the photos of the memories are so vague.

You're a genius.

When you give up, just look up the locations online. There were a few I had to look up because the pictures were incredibly vague like you said.

If you already beat Ganon, just fight him again to watch the true ending, then just keep playing after that if you want.

>When you give up, just look up the locations online
or you do what the game directs you to do, and ask pikango at stables ffs
