The good "isometric" games are mostly well known, even the niche ones like Spiderweb. So I don't think I can name anything you don't already know about and is not complete trash. Have you played the Fallout 1.5 mod yet? Gorky 17?

Well shit. I'm sorry, but in that case you are fucked. Your taste is simply too specific. There aren't any isometric RTwP hidden gems out there. Adapt or perish, mate. And by perish I mean try to branch out into some other genre. Many JRPGs use the isometric or some kind of top down perspective, and so do hack and slash games. Or you could try stealth, like Desperados or Commandos. Or just look for a completely different genre altogether.

I recently started playing underrail and i'm really enjoying it, i'm now in the junkyard but they rape me too hard, i literally fucked up in the character creations, so i think i'm either gonna restart or just quit for now.
I also literally never played crpg till now, i'm looking for an "easier" one, a sorta basic one.
Fantasy appreciated but not preferred.

Let me help then. Google Deluge and download the latest version. Go to TPB, search Underrail, click the one that has the highest number of seeders, preferably GOG version. Click download, wait for it to finish. That's it, enjoy. And if you like it, buy it later if you can and are so inclined.

I've been half-enjoying Pillars, it's not as bad as people on Sup Forums say but it's not the best I've played.

What are some atmospheric crpgs with good writing/roleplaying opportunities and at least decent gameplay (don't mention PS:T I've already played it)

Tides of Numenera. It's okay. I'm around 4.5hrs in. I'm ready for any direct PLOT reveals but I'm in the obvious beginner phase of running around the city and talking to everyone I see.

You could try the IWD npc project. It's not bad once you delete the voiced dialogue, change the default portraits and assign everyone a new voiceset.

Yeah the selection of races annoyed me too, so did the writing initially but it tightens up a bit once you get to Kuldahar.
If you want to delete the godawful VO it tells you how in the readme, and i seriously recommend it. Just a heads up but I had to use EEkeeper and mark everyone as "exportable" in order to change the portraits + voice set.

That's some nice fantasy artwork you've got op. Would be a real shame if it got remade for the modern audience.
