know any good recipes bro?

Shit game.

What would you say is the "fun" part of this game, cause i really don't like the fighting or the shrines

stuff like pick related is the only reason why i've been playing, reminds me of the persona games, i couldn't give a shit for the story but i liked a lot of the side characters.

The shitty thing here is you don't go deep with these characters like i could in persona, pretty disappointing.

Any chance of finding this gerudo sleeping?

Also where can I find the gerudo teachers diary?

Where in the castle is the cookbook? I looked in the library and what I presume was the dining area, though I could have overlooked it.

Use your magnet. There are book cases you can move.

Not a specific one but if you have 5 different foods, put one sample of each into a single pot. You can get great stuff like that.

What is the best region of the game and why is it Akkala?

What are diamonds used for other than reforming champ gear?

Now I feel even more stupid; I had to move one like that to get in in the first place but didn't think to check for any others once I was in there. Thanks.

The shrines for me. Solving them in a way other than intended is also really fun. I don't know why it's hit or miss for people. Across the board it's no better or worse than the puzzles in the other games and people say the puzzles are a big focus in Zelda while combat was just for pacing (which only was cemented in WW with its "combat", N64 combat was just dated and proof of concept tier).

A crap ton of rupees at the venders.

No worries.

It's in the library.

raw prime meat
big heart raddish
rock salt

cures all hearts plus 6 yellow ones.

Just did the shrine quest where you have to go around the lady's flowers.

Stepped on them three times accidently and lost my shit at the cutscene.

This game is the gift that keeps on giving. I'm in love with it.

What happens?

upgrading the circlet with guardian resist

Not him but she freaks out. Goes all J horror on Link.

Oh and also this one

3x Big Hearty Raddish
2x Hearty Durian

Full recovery + Twenty Three (23) extra hearts.

With this you could easily foodspam the whole game with the initial 3 hearts.

She sexually assaults Link.

Zora's Domain because atmosphere

>Hunting Dinrall for his horn
>He finally appears
>MFW I see a Star Fragment fall in distance

Anyway, right now I'm looking for the leviathan bones in the snowy region. I accidentally stumbled onto the snowboarding girl and got sidetracked.

Is that a Sheik costume?

She goes mad and you end up unconscious on the ground. At one point I thought she was a Yiga.

nothing gets by you does it bub?

The Flower's Rage.

holy fuck that exposed tummy

She never sleeps. Her perfect slumbering body adorned in nothing but glistening gold and gemstones, will remain a legend forever.

The teach's diary should be in her home. I feel like I remember it having something in there about food.

why would you waste all those hearty ite--
>+ Twenty Three (23) extra hearts.
I still think it's better to just cook one of each and have infinite full heals.

I tried to save the amiibo summoned fish, they all just committed suicide by beaching themselves.

There was enough water for the to swim they just went full crazy mode.

Mark it on your map, it will wait a while.

Damn that stinks. Aaah right I thought was just two cook books. Thanks!

I'm so glad that item/monster part finder exists. Now if only these hightail lizards would fucking stay still

>that barely visible middle flower patch right at the entrance of the shrine

Did she take Link's virginity? Porn when?

>fall into flowers once
>she hives out to me
>accidentally detonate a bomb
>scorned again
>just at end of shrine
>mfw step on tiny patch in front

Actually shouted what the fuck

Which Traveler had the best conservation?

te banana salesman

>tfw all these qts were assassins in disguise

Anyone used wolf link with TPHD amiibo? How's it working out? Is it a significant or helpful addition?

Anyone got a good map of Stone Talus locations?

The guy with the sand boots says there's someone in gerudo town who can tell me about the either heroine, where is she? I've looked all over town and couldn't find her.

Should be to the left of the bar. First house left of it.

Boy I love horsies!

I just spent like two hours following some fucking korok in the Lost Woods to get to a shrine, game of the year.

>talking to strangers in this game

never ever

Early on, he is great and will make you forget how to fight. Later on, you kinda want him to shut up so you can sneak. He is a must have in areas with wolves, and great for hunting meat.

>Just started playing
>Despite my being around since the DOS infancy this is actually only the second Zelda game I have ever played

>Mfw the first 5 minutes
This game is genuinely beautiful while being bleak as fuck. Makes me feel like I'm playing SOTC again.

Also has Zelda always had this much TECHNOLOGY in it's lore? Not that I've played any besides the Oracle games on GBC but it feels kind of off in this setting.

Worst area in the game? It's gotta be Faron Grasslands.

>thought paya was just cute and embarrassed all the time
>her diary states that she's canonically in love with Link
what the fuck man
can't decide if i want fish or fruit now

It is. Its quite futuristic tech wise for Zelda which was mostly fantasy if not exclusively. Also if you think this is bleak, just wait till you see Zelda's story.

I'm not sure if you can chock it up as TECHNOLOGY a lot of the times, but the physics engine is one of the greatest ever developed.

if you mean technology as in actual technology then yes (skyward sword). if you meen cool physics based stuff then no.

She's only talking about how i completed the quest for the seven heroines

So is this game worth getting on the Wii U?
I bought this shit a few years ago and still have no games for it.

I have found that if you ignore the travelers waiting for you, they will still be there later when you come back around to that spot.

Not always, but it's not the first game in Zelda to do it. Skyward Sword introduced magitek and this game decided to expand on that. Kind of so-so on it. It's great for the game but for lore I'm not too crazy about the precursor thing. At least we're finally seeing sheikah outside of Impa.

It plays just as well. The switch is literally just a repackaged wii u machine anyway.

Yeah, but don't expect the best possible performance from it. Might as well since it's like the last game for the Wii U.

>tfw you realize korok seeds are turds

>I bought this shit a few years ago and still have no games for it.
Pirate them all

Does anyone else think this game is set far far in the future (for hyrule/zelda anyway) and the korok's are actually what the kokiri children eventually evolved into??

Fuck off Jim

>Finding Naydra
What the fuck, did he get a case of the Ganon Clap?

I don't have to fight him, do i?

It's kind of sad seeing how much fun and hope she had in the beginning, as if things were going so well until everybody died

>bokoblin is bullying a qt traveler
>decide to rush into it at full speed with my horse
>accidentally run over the traveler

She even had dialogue commenting on what happened to her. It was kinda funny, but for a moment I got scared that I accidentally killed her.

>What a thrilll~

Meat + stamella + salt + acorn
Or
Meat + stamella + salt + honey

For a good stamina meal. Extra stamella is good too

I have it for wii u (smash, splatoon, mario maker are the only other console exclusives ihad lots of fun with) and i think its fine. Frame rates drop occasionally but it seems like everyone has that prob. Get it if you got some cash to burn, its fun.

The game is confirmed to be in the far future, references past games as ancient history, and a gap over a thousand years since TP (if child timeline).
Koroks are outright stated to be that in WW.

I never got to play WW. TY though, i guess i could have actually done some research whoopz

Calamity Ganon is the best boss fight of all Zelda games

Instead of that stupid ping pong shit that they reused from Triforce of the Gods Agahnim fight for so many games, no such thing here

Why are the great fairies so lewd?...and get lewder with each level?
I want to hug them

Im still fairly early in game too

I disagree, I felt like it was way too easy and rushed. Might've just been overgeared for it.

>implying a laser parry isnt pingpong

Like this?

Zelda is cute! CUTE!

Speaking of technology, is Ganon the reason why this universe never develops past medieval times?I guess they don't have time to invent stuff when they have to save the world every century

parry is a much tighter window

i mean ou have to get used to parry Guardian lasers, until you can do it mechanically from the sound. but is not like you cna pull it off in your first try

sam goes with fighting lynels and perfect dodging. the windows aren't as easy to get

One of the descriptions for the 8-bit Link Amiibo weapons even say that the Zelda 1 Link existed in the distant past.

I don't know how seriously can we take that description though.

How do you get that fucking ball?

I've tried to sneak in late at night but Impa never sleeps.

What's the formula for extra hearts in hearty food?

And how do you make food with higher level effects? Is it more variety of those kinds of ingredients, more of those ingredients in general, or just specific ingredients that have mid or high level effects?

>is Ganon the reason why this universe never develops past medieval times?
There just isn't any good Hyrulian archeologists until BOTW, till then it's just been royal legends.

Think about, Skyward Sword had some of the most advanced technology in the series and was at the START of it.
They must have all just lost it.

Remember...try to remember

favorite shrine so far

>Other games -> Time for Sheikah civilization to rise and grow into a high tech society -> Sheikah seal Ganon with the divine beasts -> 10,000 years during which the Sheikah civilization declines -> Failed attempt at sealing Ganon with the divine beasts a second time -> 100 years -> Breath of The Wild

It would take a very long time for all that to happen, and the events of other games (Ocarina in particular) are mentioned to be ancient history.

It's part of a sidequest. You can start it after completing every sidequest in Kakariko Village.

all hearty food gives extra hearts when cooked. it's in the description.
the extra hearts stack up with the more hearty food you prepare.
Salt helps a lot to enhance the heart recovery rate of food too.

i personally recommend farming hearty seasnails, since they are easy AF to get on the akkala seashore with the scanner up

do every quest in the village then a new one will pop up involving the ball

The level of the effect depends on the amount of ingredients that have it.
For example, you get the highest level attack up effect with five Mighty Bananas

Cool beans. I think I still need to bring the little girl some ingredients and that should be it.

What's the best side quest and why is it the Endurance Test with the 3 Goron bros?

You don't actually need to do that one.

The one you're probably missing is the firefly one with the clothes shop girl.

If you haven't done the firefly quest then that's also a thing that pretty easy to miss

>the entire hyrule castle area is dangerous and hard as fuck
>ganon is fucking easy, easier than thunderblight
why is nintendo like this

They had tech before his first appearance, used it to fight him, and then somewhere along the line they just gave it all up. Maybe they blamed technology for Ganon appearing. The basics are in Impa's story of her tribe.
