Eliphias was actually good when he talked to the Space Marines though.

In DC it was a fine example of why the Imperial burocracy sucks. Neither Thule or Alexander wanted fight, but their orders were absolute and the Blood Ravens had some secrets that should never be revealed to the rest of the Imperium.
In SS instead, we could not get much beyond "Boreale is a moron, the Sisters of Battle are crazy and Stubbs was really ambitiuos"

Imagine all the DLC they could shit out. Hell, throw in cosmetic dlc too. GW has all this potential for awesome games of every single genre with the 40k setting and all they do is consistently go full retard. They could have fucking callidus assassin stealth games, a sniping stealth game where you're a vindicare, a cuhrazee game where you're a eversor. You could have supreme commander or wargame 40k. You could rip off overlord and replace them with orks. You could have a freelancer or wing commander games in spess. Hell a fucking horror game onboard a ship or even as it's captain as you travel through the warp. Make it almost like bridge commander. There are so many different games they can make or get made for them. Fuck, just make mech warrior with titans or an admech rpg.

I've read Eisenhorn, Ravenor, all of current Gaunt's Ghosts and few Ciaphas Cain. Ciaphas is fun and all but got pretty repetitive after about the fourth book.

But to answer your question about the lack of games, it's because until recently, GW had a strong grip over the IP and would not let anyone use it.

GW is just a dumb company. I don't understand how they haven't already gone bankrupt. I don't know how they operate as they clearly employ some really good sculptors. They are probably lead by just a bunch of suits who don't understand the hobby at all. Killing Fantasy was absolutely disgusting and I don't know anyone who likes AoS.

The Night Lords are novels on their own. You know how messed up is Chaos when the guys who get their jollies by scaring civilians are the less asshats faction.
The Deathwatch instead are a bunch of shorts in a single book. A personal fav is when they use the acid spit.

It had something close to 5 enemy models and the last boss was a QTE. Story was barebones, executions got repetitive real fast, only a few weapons were any fun, no terminator armor, no dreadnaught(except in a dlc for MP),MP was p2p.It could have been much better in every aspect.
