ITT: Games that rely solely on graphics
Jokes on you, I'm not a fan of the artstyle and enjoyed throwing eggs at every fag I saw. Little things like finding a way to catch them while they bounce and get a red ones was fun as fuck, too.
The graphics, music, and details are really good, you have to admit that.
Did you fuck up OP?
My brother and I were addicted to this game when we were kids, so I call bullshit.
[insert a majority of AAA games]
The Order 1886 wins though. All it has going for it are graphics.
RESIDENT EVIL 7
but Yoshi's story was all about that beautiful sound
"Fuck Donkey Kong and fuck white people" - Shigeru Miyamoto, 1994
We may as well add Guerrilla Games entire catalog of games to this. Also the last two Crysis games.
Don't the Crysis games also have TECHNOLOGY?
lol, kill yourself,
the stages were varied, challenging and the mechanics were gud.
Even found and bought the original MINT in box from ebay.
>fucking kids, I swear to god they can't appreciate a good game even if it hits them in the face
'92-'94-ish was all about flashy style at the expense of substance, with SEGA CD, Myst on PC, Mortal Kombt and Dragons Lair in arcades, even Nintendo's output.
Thank god the multimedia revolution wasn't actually the future of video games.
More like: rely solely on novelty and gimmicks. (It worked for these games.)
I seriously can not believe how boring that game got. It looked amazing, the story/characters were on par/above average, and guns felt pretty solid.
But just, wave after wave of the same boring enemies with the same shitty cover mechanic. Like, that shit was supposed to be 5 hours and I still couldn't finish it.
ehhhh, the best looking crysis game for its time was by a considerable margin the first one, which was also very good from the perspective of gameplay.
The latter two were by no means bad looking games, especially the third, but it wasn't the same sort of paradigm-busting leap.
And neither of them really had excessively bad gameplay either.
It's not that they didn't emphasize graphical capability, but the gameplay was alright, and so the latter two games I don't think really fit the mold, and the first game certainly didn't.
captcha is killing me here

>but Yoshi's story was all about that beautiful sound
Yeah no, Mario whining alone makes me not want to play this game.
>Being this shitty at the game
I suppose you have 30 stars on every map. Yeah not buying it buddy.
I'm sorry you're so upset.
Upset over obvious lies, nah.
