If this was included in a game from the early 2000's as a gender swap mode people would just chalk it up as a cool extra feature (except maybe the pronouns thing but I'll give that a pass because it's easy to implement and it's not hurting anyone).

I noticed Plague Knight's theme was used a bit, but I never really heard Specter Knight's theme remixed anywhere.

Unless there's an auto gender switch option, that looks like it will be tedious to change each character individually.

The Rule 63 mode was originally a dumb fun kickstarter goal and they failed to think about all the cancerous tumblr whiners that would bitch about the pronouns. So, being the good developer they are, they tried to go all out on it instead of just scrapping it entirely in an effort to make everyone happy. And guess what? It wasn't enough for them, as always. This isn't a company that went SJW, it's a company that was forced to tweak a joke game mode because real SJWs ruin everything
