Headphone shitters need not apply. >I play on LAN frequently >Mod-mic / clip ons are wire cancer. Absolutely not an option >Desk mics pic up key chatter too much and mouse reset thuds >To avoid the above need a mount / pop filter and other autistic shit

Lucas Diaz
First you gotta suck my fucking cock before I give you recommendations you sloppy virgin
Ian Scott

Ethan Diaz
>I've never been to LAN before
Isaiah Lewis

John Murphy
So what's it smell like when there's 3 other fat fucks just like you in a room playing terraria together? Does it smell like the aweat from your fur suit?
Grayson White

Chase Powell
Basement dwellers are too scared to go to lan.
Jace Cruz
I've got the game zeros you've used as your picture
They're pretty good, but unless you live in an environment where there is constant noise, get the open back game ones. Also most PCs need an amp or DAC to power them, as the default audiocard isn't strong enough.
Oliver Brooks
any recommendations for amps with mic support?
Jonathan Young
audio technica m30x
longest lasting pair of headphones ive ever had
been like 2 years now
no cracks anywhere
and the closed back means maximum immersion
Lucas Cook
You don't need an amp to power the mic. It just plugs in separately. It might be a little awkward with the default cable because it doesn't split that far back. I got a Fiio E10K DAC, and what I ended up doing is plugging that into one of my USB3 ports on the back of my PC, plugging the game zero's analog audio plug into that, then plugging it's microphone plug into the analog mic port on the back of the PC.
You could also get an audio card that can actually power the fucking things, which is what I'd have done if I built a PC with these in mind.
I'd also recommend using a pair of HD 598s and looking into separate microphones. Integrated mic is overrated, clip on mics and modmics work just fine.
Lincoln Smith
Any recommendations for someone with a massive head? I had the game zeros before and they were too small but I stretched them over a basketball and they were just big enough. Doesn't seem to work on my current pair.
Joseph Parker
I'm retarded, and so are you.
James Torres
>premium headsets No such thing. Pretty much everything $100 and up is good enough. Hell, I'm currently owning corsair headset that costs about £90 and it's real good even though I was sceptical when I saw the price. Do pick up a wireless headset with 5.1 or 7.1 surround. Do not fall for the "wired headsets are better" meme. This is bullshit and no matter what they tell you wireless headsets are superior to the wired ones. >b-but batteries! Bullshit. They will last you at least 3 years and just keep them charged. You CAN play with the charging cable in. >3 years ONLY?! Three fucking years AT LEAST. One headset I owned lasted 5 years until batteries shat themselves due to old age. >b-but wireless disconnecting randomly! Bullshit, this will only happen when you plug the USB receiver by the fucking floor and if you still use 2.4GHz for everything in your house. Do I have to remind you what year is it? >b-but much sound quality! It's very high quality, you wouldn't hear the difference between extremely high quality wired headsets and wireless ones. Just remember that 20Hz to 20Khz is good. Simple as this. >b-but no true surround! This argument is only ever brought up by those who have no fucking clue what are they talking about and never ever wore surround headsets. Surround on wireless headsets is fucking glorious, owned both 5.1 and 7.1 and they were the most beautiful thing.
Christopher Hernandez
Been using these for a while now, sound quality could be better for a $60 headset but they're good enough.
Carter Bennett
>No such thing I dunno, I'd be tempted to trust that Sennheiser sounds better than your typical "gamer company" headset. >Do pick up a wireless headset with 5.1 or 7.1 surround. Virtual surround sound is absolute cancer. Stereo is all I need. >Do not fall for the "wired headsets are better" meme. I plan on taking these to LAN, I'm not taking a dock / mic or whatever extra shit I need. I just want a headset
Robert Butler
I own these as well, sound quality is actually very good for something priced so low.
Colton Flores
Smells like cheddar cheese and unwashed anus.
Levi Hernandez
But LAN parties are usually held in basements.
Carter Gray
You won't notice the difference unless you're a sound whore and you're listening to music.
With what you've said in mind, I would look into any of the more expensive offerings from Corsair or Logitech. They're functional, decent quality, not too expensive, and you won't notice a difference.
Jonathan Hall
Maybe im just going deaf, i will say they are comfy as fuck compared to all the other headsets ive had.
Aaron Clark
>I dunno, I'd be tempted to trust that Sennheiser sounds better than your typical "gamer company" headset. and you are quite right in there, I don't trust most of them either. I wouldn't buy Turtle Beach, though I was once tempted to try a pair. Logitech is great too. >Virtual surround sound is absolute cancer. Stereo is all I need. What did I just say in my previous post? You obviously never played with surround before. Surround will blow your fucking mind and you will never want to come back to stereo. >I plan on taking these to LAN, I'm not taking a dock / mic or whatever extra shit I need. I just want a headset What. You only need a USB dongle and your headset, no fucking docks. Mic should be built in.
Jaxon Richardson
>You obviously never played with surround before. Every single implementation of it I've hated. Post-processing the audio for some fake muffled 3D sound has always sounded worse to me. I play arena fps, I just need stereo.
Jaxson Rivera
It took me a moment to get used to the sound, it's a bit... maybe not worse than my previous ones, but different. They truly are comfy, it's a great headset despite low price.
Brayden Perez
>there will never be a design so good that one side wont break
Joseph Hall
The only good gayman headsets are Hyperx cloud series thanks to it just being rebrand of good takstar headphones with actually good detachable mic
Jaxson Thomas
Well then I suppose you had experienced some bad implementations indeed. All of my headsets costed between £100 and £200 and their surround was always glorious.
You can still toggle surround/stereo on most of headsets anyway so no matter what you buy you will have a choice.
Jack Evans
Astro A50s are great. Expensive as all fuck, but worth it in my opinion.
