EA is trash
boring
filled with annoying people who are bad at games
cant relate to source material because nobody here had a father that got them into sports at a young age so that they were good at it growing up and had a healthy team building experience as a child
they never change

>b-but what about 2k?!

Sports remind anons of the chads that bullied them

Dont ever buy EA games EVER
They need to die. Tell everyone you know to never buy an EA game. My children will never play an EA game.

...

They're all mechanically poor.

so 2k sports games are fine?

...

>E and A are in the word "Game"
Holy shit

elaborate

Shallow, poor imitations of the actual sports with none of the intricacies. A proper povertyball game would probably be fun to play.

fair, but as are most simulation games and games in general

I never cared much for sports simulation games but games like pic related NFL Blitz Ready to Rumble Boxing I had alot of fun with

I know they are making a Spiritual successor for the hockey HITZ game called Old Time Hockey or some shit, should be decent.

would be nice to see some of the other major sports get the same treatment, I loved me some NFL street back in the day

I like sports games up to a point, but then I get bored after a while and never go back to play it - unless it has some reason to do so.

For instance, I still go back to replay NFL Street 2 sometimes because the ridiculousness and team customization is so fun.

As for all Maddens, NFL2Ks, NBA2k, Fifas and NHL games I've owned it eventually becomes boring and I delete the data to save memory space.

EA gamers are human trash and these memes are evidence to the fact

Not really. The most jarring aspect is how games that are based on physics-heavy activities are extremely railroaded and automated. So far I think only THPS did a really good job at translating a sport. It features pickup and play gameplay, but goes ham with physics and has an immense skill cap.

I mean dont get me wrong, I loved some THPS, but to suggest the physics were well done is a bit of a stretch

Hey, guess what?

People don't like the games you play either

I don't. I just prefer more arcadey ones

How so?

grinding up rails?

That's probably true because they have shit taste and I have refined taste. People who play EA games probably don't like the games I play.

It's possible. Just not as easily.

THPS is skating turned up to eleven. Tony was involved in development after all.

stagnant genre that hasn't changed in over a decade. see also: racing

how do we make them better senpai?

You just combine racing and sports
