yeh. freshman year of college when i was comin down off mushrooms i became a pro cs 1.6 player. went 25-2 or something with loads of headshots until i got banned from the server for "aimbot".

My only experience is getting kicked from GTA IV servers for knowing how to use the rocket launcher an iota better than everyone else. I'd have fun but the bullshit was that I only fired in self defense.

Not really. Honestly I can remember more times where I should've been banned and wasn't instead of times where I was actually banned.

A paid badmin muted and gagged me after destroying him in a match. The entire server was on my side though, recorded him and earned him his third strike (he apparently did similar stuff to other people).

got banned off "astats" because some guy who was friends with the admins was upset that I 100% a game before him so he couldn't claim he did it first. Only reason they could come up with was apparently I had "reset achievements" what I'd never done, and they refused to show me any evidence of it.

yeah recently in Fortress Forever and I get accused of it in TFC to this day. My play style is to spam areas where I think people are coming so everyone thinks I wallhack. The FF ban hurt cause it was like the last active public server. Fucking sucks.

All the time for CS 1.6, soloing teams with a Desert Eagle. Same with mods like the Specialist using nothing but the Ruger 22 pistol and killing everyone. Got banned a lot in TFC while playing sniper as well. Never got banned when playing CoD:MW but got accused regularly for cheating and had 40:1 kill streaks most of the time using the Skorpion. Funny thing is that I stopped playing FPS shortly after Modern Warfare. 10 years later I seem to suck at these games now.

I once got banned from one of those Pokemon mmo's because of a sarcastic conversation I was having in the global chat. Unfortunately, it was right when an admin showed up, banned my account. Then when I went to the forums to appeal, I was basically told to fuck off because it was somehow my fault the admin missed the context of my remark. It wasn't even offensive.

Actually yes, I was playing on this Polish server for more than 6 month and after one round where everything just went right and I aced the entire enemy team I just got permabanned. Never cheated in a multiplayer game.

Yes I got banned from DS3 because I refused to stop playing the game after my account got flagged back when their system went wack. Some dude hacked items and dropped them into my game which flagged me. There response was literally "You should have stopped playing the game then!" I had that flag for two fucking weeks right after the game came out. Fuck you you twats why should I stop playing during the time there are the most other players playing and shits not spoilered and figured out yet? Even worse is they released an announcement about how their system was over sensitive and false flagging but they still wouldn't revoke my ban.

I got banned from BF3 for aimbotting. My global KDR wasn't even that great (like 2.5 or something) and I wasn't cheating. I appealed through BBB, my ban got overturned in 24 hours. My stats were reset however and it took another 2 weeks to have them back.

SWTOR. Blanket ban for "serious economic exploit." After they introduced a feature when one could spawn unlimited amount of collected items some were not character bound and could be sold to vendor. I spawned a bit of them for fun and other characters on my account but got flagged and banned as if I was selling to vendor. Got an apology 2 days later and 3 weeks free sub.

Not exactly a false ban, but a friend of mine had his Steam account stolen.
Within a single day, that account was apparently sold to someone else who immediately started cheating with the account. Friend got his profile back two days later, but there's a VAC Ban tagged on it because of the thief's cheating.

i remember there was a TF2 server that had the WC3 mod run by some power tripping asshole who would go around and randomly take away levels from people who didn't donate, and start harassing them to bait them into replying so he'd have an excuse to ban them. he started doing it to a friend of mine, i called him out on it and got banned.
