Which Harry Potter games were the best?

Which Harry Potter games were the best?
Any console, PC, PS, GBC, GBA.

I liked the GBC games and the first 3 PC games.

play them in order until you get to the ones where it turns into gears of war.

FLIIIIIIIPENDOOOOOOOGUH

I haven't played any but lego harry potter, which was okay I guess. I was really tired of lego games at the time so I can't really give an honest answer.

GBC and PS1 were the best ones.
PC 1-3 were good, too.

Philosopher's Stone on the PC was pretty good. Apparently the game is different on each platform and they're all good games.

2 on pc

Hagrid looks like an oversized dwarf

Ps2, with Mana Khemia.

Elder God Tier: Ravenclaw

Bro/Rival Tier: Slytherin

Breedable Tier: Hufflepuff

Faggot/Liberal Tier: Gryffindor

GBC 1-2 are fun turn based RPGs, worth playing.
PS1 1-2 are great in a more comedic way

When does this start happening?

5 or 6

How good is that quidditch game?
I'll believe that when we get more Slytherin characters that aren't morons.

Slytherin is literally the house of autism. Every autist out there sympathies with Slytherin.

And Ravenclaw is for fedoras.

I like Order of the Phoenix on PC the most. Exploring the castle while doing minor tasks was just so much fun for me.

First two parts on PC are alright. Chamber of Secrets is definitely better since controls in Philosopher's Stone are ass.

Prisoner of Azkaban on GBA is kinda meh IIRC. Playable but not very good.

I remember hating Goblet on PC when I tried it.

There are no good games based on one of the dullest franchises in the history of movie franchises. Each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody, just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.

Thanks /lit/! But you're on Sup Forums

Nice meme picture

The video games are solid action/adventure titles with a lot of whimsy, freedom, and good progression. I don't think you've actually played any of these games.

Anyways 1-3 were great games on all platforms

>11 inches
>ravenclaw
You poor child.

I'm looking to emulate some on my phone, which ones should I get?

Whichever one let you fly the Griffin or whatever the fuck it was

PS1 versions of Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets
GBA version of Chamber of Secrets

Is there a difference between the GBC and GBA versions of 1-3?

The GBC versions of the games are turn-based RPGs while the GBA versions are more action adventure games

Are the lego ones any good?

LOTR? Shit tier?
ok then

Chamber of Secrets on PS2 was really fuckin good

This fucking copypasta is grand.

Did you like lego star wars?

>action adventure games
What?

Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets GBA both have you move around and participate in combat in real time as you explore the castle. There's no turn-based battle screen

HARRY POTTER IS SIX YEARS OLD

You look like a faggot, kill yourself.

Which one was sort of open world and was on PC? Was that one good?

Here you go, guys.

OUCH, STOP IT, HARRY!

Thanks.
Also, checked.

Slytherin is better than Ravenclaw but it's not bad. Gryffindor is for assholes and Hufflepuff is for stoner washouts.

please tell me someone has them HARY PORRER caps

Why didn't they see that an old guy was sleeping next to Ron's bed every night for all the years?

Fred and George are dumb.

harry potter 4 was so fucking garbage, why the fuck would they change a wining formula for another generic top view shooter
also, checked
