NEED A POPULATED MMO FOR FUN and MAKE FRIENDS

>kicked off 7 days to die server because of some missing file
>place was shit anyway
>actual IRL known person that i play with is a fat asshole

im actually happy about this. should i work on my apps and music or find an actual thriving MMO for PC?

Try Wildshart

dumb nigger

What are you looking for in a MMO?

big community. with people running around at all sorts of hours so i dont feel alone. populated as fuck towns.
exploration.
crafting and leveling.
can be causal if needed.

i guess ill go back to counter strike.

Elysium

jodie foster was fucking banging yale bait

Seems like you want ESO.
Extremely meh- combat, but has very rewarding crafting and exploration. Also the community has been growing very much lately, and will grow more as soon as their first expansion "morrowind" drops.

Old school runescape

>kicked from a server automatically over a mismatched file
>treats it as a ban
?????

There aren't any good MMOs left. Find a good progression-based game and join the Steam group for it or something.

Otherwise I guess Vindictus could still be active? It's instance based but there were plenty of low levels to party with last I played.

not op here what if all i want is combat? i used to queue random bgs on wow like a mongoloid and i kinda miss the mindless keymashing faggotry

Is half of that game's skill tree still paywalled? Do the paywalled parts actually matter at all? Current games have beaten me into thinking microtransactions are okay but I've never found a subscription modelled game worth the monthly tribute.

this wrath of the lich king private server called icecrown

>tfw this exact question never gets answered before the thread dies

Was driving to work.

Yes, there's barely more content for f2p since its inception. It's not worth to play and not pay, in my and many others' opinion.

wow
ffxiv

Not much else that's solid out right now.

You should actually just stay away from MMOs, they devalue active gameplay read: fun in favor of time investment/grinding.

Also to add, you can buy 14 days of membership for ~2.5m ingame money. Loads do this, as literaly anyone can earn it back in half a day. I myself runecraft a good bit, making about 800k/h. I still pay with irl dosh because playing runescape is a really really low-pay job comparatively.

how fast would it be to get up to that income from a new free account?

Maybe an hour or two if you take your time.

There's ways to earn loadsa money without skill reqs (collecting fungi, making unfinished potions to name some). They're members only though. It's very hard to earn a good amount in f2p.

Once you get some skills leveled (farming, fletching, smithing) you can earn hundreds of k's an hour. Farming has an effective gp/h in the millions but requires waiting.

Do ONE f2p quest (the Knights sword), get 30 smithing insta from that, make steel bars at blast furnace -> ~500k/h.

Work on your apps and music. Otherwise I think FFXIV would work since it has some kind of forced interaction I didn't enjoy.

thanks, was looking for a way to get into this and my friends were pay to play from the start so they couldn't think of shit

No prob. The steel bars thing requires I think the giant dwarf quest, but it's ez. A good goal for a new char would be to get some achievement diaries. Also WATERFALL QUEST AND WITCH'S HOUSE for combat exp, gets you mid lv 30 att/str, and a bunch of HP respectively.
