It's shit
It's good.
It's okay
>next update will be the last
Fuck yes. ES2 is really shaping to be a hell of a game considering they're applying everything they learned in EL.
It's fun
The Riftborn seem fun.
I haven't played any race other than Sophons though
Does it have shitass combat again?
As of now it's the same shallow and unfinished mess the first one was without any features and fixes to core gamplay issues, with less content and a higher price tag. There's no reason at this point to play this over the first game. At current speed of development you better wait until it's complete and sold bundled with all DLC on a sale.
>everything they learned in EL
I don't know much that is, though. Endless Legend has great and diverse factions, but doesn't really excel in anything else. Other than art style, I guess.
Yes
Kinda hyped. Will probably buy it later today.
The quests and RPG factor of the units was damn great.
Looks great. I'm especially hyped about military tech tree changes. Right now military pacing is a little dumb - you have no reason to ever research the resource weapons because you just unlock better basic weapons on the next tech tier.
Looks solid, I'll pick it up at some point
Can't wait for it to get out of early access. Looking forward to getting it then and when I have a clear backlog.
It offers a variety of options for different playstyles so it feels pretty different to play a different faction/have a different endgoal. At least it does nowadays.
It still has a huge balance issue that were never fixed unfortunately. Idk if the Cult are still extremely weak like they were
>endless
>2
Fuckers can't even math
>It still has a huge balance issue that were never fixed unfortunately
Which races are broken?
fucking incomprehensible merchant runes

Its awesome, though the last update was kind of spread thin -- cant wait for the latest EA update to drop today at 1PM EST.
Cult is bad until mid-late game, which is enough time to get slaughtered. Broken Lords and Vaulters are super strong for different reasons (BL can ignore all resources except for influence and dust, Vaulters have marines, more strategic resources, and great unique buildings). Roving Clans are fine against AI but are disadvantaged in multiplayer, although tbf I have not played them or see anyone else play them since the DLC and patches. Haven't gotten a chance to use the DLC factions either.
And speaking of units, there are a lot useless units that factions have. Preachers, for example, suck until they get equipment. Which is a big part of why the Cult early game suffers. Also, usually you're supposed to fill in the gaps with minor factions to make up for your weaknesses. But these are even more imbalanced than the major factions, with some that are laughably good and others which just suck hard. Sisters of Mercy, for example, are irredeemable garbage while Gardeshii get a good cav unit and a god tier minor faction effect.
Easily worth the 30 dollars they are asking, it is worth a lot more in my opinion
That's a really reasonable price.
