Spellforce isn't a straight up rts tho'. it's a hybrid rpg. at least II was, and all it's expacs. your main character was very important as a unit and had a crapload of rpg-shit to do.

Spellforce 2 had a lot of potential but were full of bugs and weird shit that made stuff inconvenient as fuck.

Everything about this feels like less of what i liked about the first game.
less factions, less character customization and less free play.
I like the worker management element, but boy those are some boring ass factions they got there and the RPG elements look very much like the limited skill tree from SF2.
