Can't make this shit up anymore

Can't make this shit up anymore.
Not even >mines fine >Werks4me can defend this either

...

Mine's fine

I suppose it heats up enough to start bending

If you have it docked for too long it warps.

t. Sonybro

Sure thing NDF you go put your fingers in your ears like a good little cocksucker.

Peoples switches are literally bending when docked and all you can say is B-but sony!

>s0nyggers use force to bend Switch and shitpost about it.
Can't make this shit up.

Mine is still working fine for me.

>Expecting build quality from a post-Gamecube Nintendo.

That was your first mistake.

Does it wobble like the PS4 ?

Mines fine.

hory shit, i went to check mine and is a little bit bend

Yes it does.

But the wobble wasn't the console destroying itself.

Mines fine.

Still making these threads?

The wobble is a non-issue, faggot.

does the bend cause any noticeable issues yet? cosmetic or....?

mines bent very-very slightly
i cant say if it was always like that or it was bending in the dock

i dont really care as long as it works

yeah coz we all just buy 300 dollar machines to get you fanboys mad. fucking retard

Why would having it docked make it warped? Isn't there some kind of heatsink? Or isn't at least a snug enough fit or locking mechanism that there's no room for anything other than the tablet?

It doesnt cause any problems because it only exists in the hands off sony shills and shitposters. Its non issue that doesn't exist.

ITS

Well if the bend is happening because of heat on the screen then cracks could happen soon enough

The dock is literally a piece of plastic that plugs hdmi and power cables into it. The console runs warm anyway and encasing it in plastic must really do something to the venting of the console if it's heating up enough to warp the plastic

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit After seeing you image my switch instantly contorted itself.

It's incredible how fast it happened. and how spontaneous
Indeed, nobody used it back then anyway, so no biggie

So what if the Switch had that slight curve before and they didn't notice. Remember that all original PS4's were bent on arrival. Wobble Wobble

OKAY

wow a bend
that surely will distract everyone from FUCKIN 98

The ps4 wasn't bent, they just put the little rubber nubs on stupid places.

WHEN

mine's too, you really think is ok? i can't remember either, this thread just made me a hole in the stomach, wp

Yes we get it, a handful of guys worldwide have bends in their Switches, you gonna make another compilation video out of it?

It's a flat surface. It doesn't matter where you put the nubs as long as they somewhere close to the corners

>i-it's okay when S-Sony does it!

Are you seriously acting like this is fine?

How isn't it in line with literally every other hardware launch in history?
All of them had a few defects for some people.

Just because out of 2 million units there might be 100 that have a slight bend that doesn't mean it's a widespread issue.

The bent is a feature so it can endure more, you fucking idiots.

URGH!

This is almost as bad as the iphone bending thing

Plastic bends. thats how it is. its perfectly normal.

>0.1% malfunctions are NOT ok when nintendo does it!

If any system ever needed a revision, it's the fucking Switch.

If any life ever needed a revision, it's yours.

>Upon reaching Thebes, Oedipus had encountered a sphinx.
>"If you wish to pass this point alive, you must answer my riddle. What screen tears but also bends?"
>Oedipus pondered this for a moment.
>"Perhaps the Nintendo Switch?", he replied.
>"Very well man, you may pass."

>Buying consoles within the first few months of launch
You deserve every issue you have.

Why? I didn't buy a Switch.

...

Maybe you shouldn't carry sensitive electronics in your back pocket like some dirty nigger.

pretty good

Falling out in tune out my grooves, uhh, warping
All I do is lose my form, I'm warping

>day one of owning the Nintendo Switch
>the kickstand has broken off the tablet, and the left JoyCon is de-syncing regularly while

trying to play the system's single title, Zelda: Breath of the Wild
>despite these setbacks, I am still optimistic

>day two of owning the Switch
>the plastic screen was scratched when I mistakenly brushed against it with the sleeve of my

jacket
>I can no longer see anything on the handheld tablet due to this, but fortunately the dock has

not broken yet

>day three
>the right JoyCon has disintegrated into a fine grey powder and is no longer usable
>I have ordered a Pro Controller and will have to wait it out

>day seven
>the controller arrived, and I wad able to continue my Zelda adventure on my television
>though the game's performance is poor, and the graphics leave much to be desired, I enjoy the

weapon breaking mechanic because it reminds me of the Switch

>day eight, the dock has melted the SD card slot on the device, I now only have access to the

internal storage, a paltry 32GB, and I must play on the tablet again
>unfortunately due to the kickstand and the JoyCon breaking, I must lean it against a stack of

books and play with the Pro controller

>day nine, I still cannot see anything and I am unable to charge the tablet while it is in use
>I will persevere

>day ten, the screen is now flashing with blinding colors and the speakers are emitting a

constant, high-pitch wail like the screaming of tortured souls in hell
>I believe my Switch may have been possessed by a demon

>day eleven, I have completed Breath of the Wild, my final review score for the Switch is

9/10, Nintendo have knocked it out of the park yet again

Wobble was an issue because it kept ejecting the disc

But it was fixed thankfully, and you could just fix it with some bluetac, like the self-scratching 3ds

How many known cases are there posted online? Only the one in the OP, or is this a huge thing?

If it's just the one, considering in his lebbit post he says that he hasn't been playing for a long time, his unit may have a rare defect, because there are people who have played in the dock for over a hundred hours.
Either that or he sat on it and thought it would get him lots of up-arrows.

I'm not trying to argue that this isn't an issue waiting to happen to other units, or that this isn't a serious flaw.

What a fake story, how did Oedipus know what a Switch is?

You have autism.

Do you have brain damage?

But if someone paid for the product, they have a right to complain about flaws, however minor others perceive them to be.

In your opinion it's not a big deal but it's easy to say that when it's not your property. I don't own a Switch but I can empathize with others being miffed about a defect when they paid a few hundred dollars for the console.

Is it the end of the world? Of course not. But when someone says "My Switch is warped, this sucks", it's pretty shitty (and also kind of useless) to respond with "Yeah but the majority of the consoles are fine!" How does that help them, at all? Telling someone to simply look at the big picture and disregard their own situation, when their situation is less than ideal, is kind of retarded.

Is this a true story?

Do you have a fetish for farting on electronics?
Because it looks like you enjoy sitting on them.
But there isn't a board here for that.

10/10 made me kek, have a nintenbro

How did the sphinx?

>the console runs warm anyway
No it doesn't

Just checked mine, had it for 4 days, and it's already fucking bent

It's not even good, the new zelda game is shit, the controllers disconnect constantly, and it never seems to go above 12fps

Last thing I ever buy from nips, their engineering is fucking garbage

He saw the reveal on a Twitch stream.

And don't tell me they didn't stream back then because Drice died.

...

But when the PS4 was failing and eating discs, that was just fine, right? Hang yourself.

Heat bending a device like that is impossible outside of a blowtorch being taken to it.

The bent units were always bent, people just don't notice that shit at first.

I don't own a PS4 either. And no that's not fine.

You're a bit of an idiot.

no mine was straight when I got it

..and they didn't do that.

Which is why people could press the corners and it would wobble.

Looks fine to me.

This. But Sup Forums is retarded, and would rather be wrong forever than have 5 minutes of not shitposting about Nintendo stuff.

That's not the situation at all. A very small amount of people are coming out and saying they're switches are bent. That's unfortunate. But now sonyfags are blowing the situation out of proportion and pretending it'll happen to every switch. That's why people are saying it's a non-issue. Nobody is telling the people with actually defective units that nothing's wrong.

I'm not talking to that person though, I'm talking to
>wow inexcusable nintendo is fuckin doomed when will they recover
faggots

Pm'd you the fix

Never said that, they put it in stupid places. That's dumb as fuck, you put raisers on the edge and corners not in the middle.

But it's not as bad as the console itself bending

good track.

user you can't change the laws of physics. Not even if the Switch actualy ran it's meager Tegra to it's maximum capacity it would generate enough heat to bend a shell around itself.

>Making up shit to defend a corporation.

This is happening if you leave it in the dock. Not everyone is a fatass like you.

are you retarded? you do know that lithiumj batteries expand right? plus the switch runs pretty damn hot.

kys

>wow inexcusable nintendo is fuckin doomed when will they recover

And nobody in this reply chain said anything like that.

I get that there's a whole discussion surrounding the issue, but I responded only to a post implying that because it's a fringe case, it's not actually a problem. Which is a bullshit assertion.

Why don't people just drill holes in the dock for air vents? It's mostly empty anyway so you won't damage anything right?

Under-rated post, 10/10

Don't try to explain yourself to me, sonybro

>I enjoy the weapon breaking mechanic because it reminds me of the Switch

I don't believe he meant that. Your reading comprehension is questionable.

>early adopter
>unit is still under warranty
>didn't inspect console for flaws before investing time into it
>ignores the free replacement for defective joycons offered by Nintendo
>didn't install the update that fixes the large majority of frame issues

Hmmmmm I wonder who's behind this post.
At least you can sell the piece of shit while it's still sold out everywhere.

Expanding lithium battery would make the screen pop out of the left side, not cause a bend in the middle of a device you absolute genius.

And we have actual heat camera analysis of the Switch, not only does it never really get hot enough to be possibly harmful, it's heat is concentrated at the top near the hot air vent, far from the battery and far from most bends appear.

I played Zelda for 20 minutes and my switch just curled up into a ball from the intense heat. Wtf I hate Nintendo now.

bottom line is

yes, it is fine, every product line has malfunctions in some minor percentage of cases, thats how life works

lmao i'm fine with my choices, let me get this straight, you're blaming me for the switch's problems because I own one?
why are you even in this thread if you were too poor to get one?

lol NEET detected, the housing meets in the middle of the device, the screen is glued on.

A lot of retarded fan boys ITT

That's fine. But people still want to complain about it, so leave the thread if it bothers you.

>mfw currently listening to Hot Head

>please stop saying things I don't want to hear

Why are you even trying to lie about shit like that when there's public tear-downs of the device and anyone can- Oh,

Oh, I see what you're doing. Nintenbro trying to pretending the people upset at the bend Switches are all mentally retarded to make higher anons believe this is completely shitposting.

Nice try, but it wasn't enough.

>let me get this straight, you're blaming me for the switch's problems because I own one?
>4 days later I realized that it was bent this whole time!
>fucking nips! wahhh

The bending is from ogres pushing so hard on the screen that the whole unit bends enough for the metal plates inside to keep their bent shape and hold the plastic with them.

I-its your shitty table that's bent!

>bottom line is yes, it is fine

It's fine if it gets fixed. Until then, the consumer has the right to complain about a flaw in the product they purchased, and claiming they don't is complete garbage.

The metal plate within the Switch isn't thick enough to make the whole thing bend out of shape. This is most likely simply sloppy manufacturing, specially since people have reported bent switches out of the box.
