>90 hours in game
>walking around Gerudo desert
>suddenly Molduga life bar pops up
>have no fucking idea what a molduga is
>mfw I see it

I just finished the Zora Devine Beast.

Prince Sidon is a fucking bro among bros.

>get the quest to help gerudo wife to save husband
>get to desert with the molduga
>hop off seal and draw weapon
>bar pops up
>"hear music but where is i-whats that sand?"
>mfw it one shots me

...

what are you talking about lmao there's nothing interesting or exciting in this game, it's just a ubisoft collectathon
no way bro everyone knows that there's no good story in this game and that means no memorable characters

odds on the dlc dungeon?

Odds?

is any of the jewelry worth it
they seem pretty expensive when you consider the gem cost

Highest armor rating and it doesn't look like a shitty helmet. If you don't care about set effects then jewelry is good.

who is best gril or dude

I made the mistake of buying them when I thought they'd get better stats when upgraded. But it's only defense

So I'm kind of thinking to just sell them and cut my losses, since 100%ing this game is not in the cards for me (I'm already getting worn out)

If you put on the Dark Link set, EVERY NPC will be afraid of you.

youtube.com/watch?v=6vCc9jiYreo

Where is this fucking cunt Aliza? I just want to finish her retardedly simple quest, but she is nowhere around the stable.

So, regular red Lynels basically vanish from the world after finishing all 4 divine beasts, right?

I don't know about blue ones, but even the one near Lanayru East Gate is a zebra now on my game.

The one on the plateau for the Zora quest will always remain red, also pretty sure one of the Lynels that spawns in one of the guard tower in Hyrule Castle will always be blue.

Check the one on the mountain near the Zora village. Supposedly that one always stays red

>the final fairy enchantment cutscene

Now that you mention it, what even is the point of those "trapping" guard gates? You can just climb out and go around them either way.

I guess Ganon didn't take into account Link being Spiderman.

Is this real?

Yeah, that happens if you go to the map's edge.

Yeah, when you reach an edge of the map you get that message and get turned around

Is there more to the Yiga Clan than what I'm seeing? All I've fought thus far are the grunts and that one yiga swordsman in the Kakariko side quest? I've beaten 3 divine beasts so far, so maybe there's more I haven't seen.

>exploring the desert via sand seal
>Molduga bar pops up music starts playing
>check my surroundings *nothing*
>controller starts rumbling
>*rumble increases
>come to realization where its at
>full panic mode
>mush sand seal like my life depends on it
>last thing I remember was Link flying in the air and dying upon landing

They'll become random encounters while on the road. And the main quest ties into them.

PCbros lmao

>ice block my way across the ocean
>see what looks like an island in the far distance
>get hit with the message when I'm miles away from shore
>all that hopping and bopping for nothing

At least you can warp, I would have hated having to block jump my way back to the main coast.

Fairies must be really magical in order to heal every single broken bone on his body over and over again.

Humph!
Problem nintenbro?

What's the best place to shield ride?

fishy

This game is comfy!

Wonder how many hearts a deep fried Mipha would refill.

>killed it with Explosion arrows before it even got to me

Other than the desert, there's a great place around the Northern-central area of Hebra, not too far from the peak.

Akkala in the rain

i've only found one fairy fountain

>mfw when I'm standing on a rock in the middle of the desert with no sand seals in sight

Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure you can get a good slide down Mount Lanyaru.

Dat theme though youtube.com/watch?v=1JgJR4iy7wc

...

>literally travelled systematically all over Hyrule looking for bosses
>1 hinox left and 4 taluses

is there any value to completing the compendium? I already messed up by not taking one of the Ganons picture, and now I hear that certain enemies stop spawning and items stop dropping since they are replaced by higher tier ones

one talus was on plateau

EVERYTIME I ASK THAT MOTHER FUCKER ABOUT THE BLOOD MOON HE SAYS NOTHING BUT UTTER BULLSHIT. I NEED A BLOOD MOON TO DO A SHRINE

REEEEEEEEEEE

Link is at pretty good height

Its collection for collection sake. The only thing that matters are shrines, great fairies, and side quests. Everything else is just for the fuck of it. Though, it is fun to collect boss medals.

help

Anyone else find the mazes to be very eerie?

Looks like you ascended to a higher plane
Or went to hell. Good luck!

Kill a lot of enemies, especially world bosses like Lynels/Guardians/Hinox/Molduga/Talus. The more things are missing from the overworld, the more likely you are of getting a bloodmoon

Only done the one in the gerudo region so far. Really enjoyed it

I love the theme, sadly EVERY VERSIONS UPLOADED ON YOUTUBE IS THE FUCKING LOST WOOD VERSION WITH THE KOROK NOISES

yeah i was scared shitless of what i might find. pretty underwhelming in the end but i still enjoyed it all

>See Guardian for the first time
>Already learned about them from Impa
>"Oh, this won't be so bad. Wait, is that a fucking laser point-"
>And Link is dead

>enter maze
>load this up

youtube.com/watch?v=ba0PrBXNr3I

>See blood moon immediately
>Teleport to stable nearest blood moon shrine
>Run to the blood moon shrine

??????

One month later, I finally beat the game and got the true ending.

But I still want to keep playing - I hadn't even found 60 shrines.

Is it weird of me to want to keep going even though I'm technically done?

>tfw best girl won in this game

>oh wait isn't there a shield parry mechanic?
>oh it kills the guardians with their own laser beams?

parry laser using Pot lid
>POT LID OP

Using the Master sword to wreck them is pretty satisfying

You're only halfway with the shrines so go for it. I only have seven left but five of them are shrine quests and I don't feel like looking for them just to get something I wont use.

I hadn't mastered it at that point. I also wasn't expecting a giant laser beam.

Yeah, I had just found Kakariko Village when I went a bit north and found my first active Guardian. Nowhere near getting the Master Sword at that point.

But it was so satisfying to wreck their shit later in the game.

Am I the only one who just can't get the timing down for this? I always seem to parry too early and end up getting hit.

the exact moment the laser stops making sound
a split-second after if it's far away

It is kinda hard but bruh, If I can parry that thing at 5 fps on pc then I know you can parry that shit at 30

Where are the other big fairies?

>now listen buddy if i can do it at 1/6th speed then i'm sure you can do it at full speed

One near Kakariko, One near Tarry Town, one on the southwest edge of the map, one in the Horse God area in the south, and one you can see from the Tower near Tabitha Bridge, southeast I think.

>If I can parry when the game freezes for whole seconds at random and frame rate is between 25 and 0 at any given notice then you can too

It's a crime against gaming that you can't upgrade this set.

I was kind of bummed we didn't have other weird deities like the Horse God.

Reminder you can pose with your weapons by holding ZL and moving the left stick in the selfie mode of the camera.

Mina a cute.

Lack of reds isn't your problem, it's the fact that you can never get Blue Lynel weapons now.

Wait, the jewelry is as strong as the Knight and Ancient helms?

>tfw used the right-hand rule I learned from that to go through the mazes
Of course, it doesn't actually work to find the end of the mazes, but it's good for finding stuff and making sure you don't retread

Blue lynels spawn in Hyrule Castle

I think only the Amber earrings are (and maybe the Diamond circlet?).

Why doesn't the Hyrule Compendium have an NPC category?

Lynels in Hyrule Castle never drop weapons.

Best part of the game was the labyrinths. I hope the dlc is more sprawling monolithic dungeons and temples like those. Hopefully with remixed Zelda 1/2 dungeon themes.

Yep, they made me feel uncomfortable desu

Anyone else agree OoT tunic is best tunic?

>If you put on the Dark Link set, Hestu and the Koroks will be afraid of you
Don't you know how to use fucking /spoiler?

Cool though.

>Tfw just barely remembered to remove Link's helmet during the final battle, right as the final blow was making contact
I was a hair away from ruining my entire experience with the game.

So which bosses give monster medals? Hinox, Molduga, and Talus? Is it a post game thing?

It wasn't what I was trying to get at. It was more informing you about it in a funnily way.

every npc is scared of you user

Use roller bombs dummy.

I loved the Molduga fights. It was basically Niblesnarf from monster hunter, animations and all.

Everyone is afraid of you, locals will act scared.

Does anyone have a link to the music that plays during the cutscene that reveals calamity ganon? It has such a good fucking build up.

Ah, okay, sorry. I did manage to get the parrying down, so now Guardians are a joke.

literally the one part of the game that is unacceptable to me

i hate invisible walls

Hope the cave of trials has new enemies

>mfw you can cut guardian's legs
>mfw you can reflect their lasers

I tried to drown a guardian yesterday and it wouldn't stand still
