I finished botw, which do I play next?

>p5
>ps3

automata will probably be shorter so go for that first

nah I'm not paying $400 for the extra pixels i won't notice from 10 feet away

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Wii-U
Persona 5 - PS3
Nier: Automata - PC

What is this?!

but user, how will you see all the attention to detail in the character models' faces?

What's different between P5's PS3 and PS4 versions? Just overall better textures/resolution and stuff? Is PS4 60fps?

Nah I got a switch to play botw since I didn't have a wii u. Waiting for mario kart now or for bomberman to be ~$30 used. I'm not buying a ps4 since I can play most of the library on my pc and ps3, as shown.

Not everyone is a brandcuck. Consolewars are dumb, just play what you like.

Truth be told I would love to play in 1080p but its just not worth the money. I was going to get a ps4 but then I found out nier was on pc and other things I wanted started being ported to pc or were just available on my ps3.

I heard they were 100% the same except the ps3 version is 720p. I would love if ps4 was 60fps (someone prove me wrong?) so one day I could maybe enjoy it in 60fps, but 30fps 1080p isn't good enough for purchase.

Automata was garbage, and I say that as a big fan of Nier. It was bad by the standards of every party involved in it: Taro, Platinum and Square. None of their strengths came out with this game.

Persona 5 is a 10/10 and pretty much everyone agrees with this.

Be a little more subtle next time.

Persona is more bang for your buck

Automata can be cleared in a week, wait till its like $30-40

t. bought it on launch day

>Already bought a Switch for BotW
>Hasn't picked up a PS4 yet

That's the opposite of making sense. There's lots of weebshit that's not going to wind up on Steam at launch (if ever) which lands on the PS4.

Not really, I already said I don't have a wii u. So the coming (hopefully) ports along with portability are a big value to me. Conversely, I already own a ps3 and a strong pc, so a large portion of the games I want to play on ps4 are available to me. I'm not a huge weebshit gamer, the two games I want to play just happen to loosely fit that category.

Like I said, I came very close to buying a ps4, but those reasons started to dwindle. I will probably get one eventually, but not right now.

>ps3
>pc
>playing the WORST versions of both games

you might as well wipe your ass with 60 bucks and flush it faggot

I've already given my reasons in the thread, maybe you should read them. Whats wrong with the pc version of nier?

Do I really need to play Persona 1-4 to get into the new one? Never played the series...

No.

No, the games are self contained, they just share similar gameplay, story themes, and settings

yes. they are direct sequels, though they do provide a recap

The entire daemon/true self mainly focuses around Persona 2 and Persona 4, so no.

I would play them so you know whats going on

This faggot is wrong.

Outside of fanservice games like P4Arena and PQ (both of which specifically crossed-over the casts of P3 and P4), the games are entirely self-contained. Nothing that happens in P3 or P4 is going to be a major plot point in P5. At most, there'll be some references which you don't necessarily need to catch in order to enjoy it.

thanks friends

Everything except anything having to do with P4.
All that shit's canon.

To further build on Basically the only references Persona 4 had to Persona 3's plot was that you go to the town Persona 3 took place in at one point during Persona 4 and interact with a couple NPCs. No major plot points from Persona 3 come up and outside of the sequence being a callback to Persona 3, you wouldn't notice that anything was amiss about the segment had you not played the previous game.

really dedicated troll here...
