I appreciate your sentiment but the Yakuza series is inextricably tied to the Playstation, if it weren't for Sony it wouldn't be whwre it is today. They do a really good job actually bothering to localize and market the series in the west; i can guarantee you Microsoft would never do that for a series like this(takes place in Japan, all dialogue japanese very tied to the culture). And there wouldn't be anyone to give them the same kind of financial reinforcement Sony has provided for the series if SEGA wanted to make it for the PC.
THIS GAME IS ABOUT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A MAN user. THERE ARE LESSONS TO BE LEARNED HERE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS THEEEEEEEEEEMEEEEEEEEEE
Boss scene transitions in Yakuza are pure vidya kino. Nothing else compares to them. They're always hype as fuck which is exactly what they should be doing.
This. I have been playing Yakuza since the orginal came out, but NONE of them compare to Yakuza 0. It's so clear they were trying to recapture the feel of Yaluza 1 & 2. I have not had vidya feels like this in a long time, like reuiniting with an old friend.
Fucking Yakuza OST is always good.
>Yakuza 3 was my first Yakuza game
>tfw this song came on
>MMMMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAAAAAA

That fucking transition shit on every single cinematic setpiece Naughty Dog "game"
>tfw
The Japs sure know how to do soundtracks.
Hokuto Musou's OST was better than the actual game:

>port two of the best games of the series to another system
>nobody cares
>sega goes ahead announce a dozen more games for playstation afterwards
Thanks, Nintendofags.
Can't wait for Kiwami.
Yakuza and Ace Combat are the 2 series where the OST are always consistently good

Maybe if they actually released them in the fucking west but no.

>just import it and use a translation guide!
I don't need the game to take twice as long because I constantly have to look back and forth from the screen to the guide for every piece of dialogue so no fucking thank you.
Not really. Ace Combat X has a shitty electronic soundtrack. Ace Combat Assaut Horizon's soundtrack is surprisingly good, though, despite the game's reputation.
>because I constantly have to look back and forth from the screen to the guide for every piece of dialogue so no fucking thank you.
I literally just had a no commentary walkthrough up on another monitor that I synced up the cutscenes with. You're really making a mountain out of a molehill, it's only annoying if you want to 100% the game because no commentary walkthroughs only take you so far.
It's another "third party tries to sell a game on a nintendo console" episode.
I can deal with my originals, but i wish we had a PS3 HD port in the west. I want sum trophies.
Or their Ai wo Torimodose!! remix for the game:

Even though the game was bad they continued to make a great OST for the doomed sequel:

>implying its better than the Yakuza 1 final boss
No Yakuza scene has topped it yet.
You misspell Yakuza 2's finale
>tfw CROSS COUNTER
I actually liked that one more but after Yakuza Zero the fight against Nishiki is better.
OP here, why are you just forgetting about that one time Ryuji realised his little sister had fallen for a real man.
The OST and presentation, even the combat in that fight, is pretty much perfect.
Nishiki's has more story impact after 0 though while 0's Ryuji is pretty much a joke. It's kinda like how I prefer Saejima's Majima fights to Kiryu's. They are more personal than "Majima like fighting Kiryu"
