You realize if the shipment/stock does not get sold to the consumer they stores won't order another shipment right? Which means it's lifetime would be 1.5mil with a 2 year delay not that great bud.

And game companies don't care about how many copies a store orders. They track consumer purchases. If no one buys it, then no one wants it, its considered a bad game, and is labelled a flop. By your logic Battleborn is a huge success because of the tons of unsold copies still littering stores nationwide.
