the whole expansion was badly written

I was mad and confused when I got that ending.
I thought I did everything right and then she just runs into her hands and gets killed through the most absurd way..
In most games, if I'm not satisfied with the ending, I start from a savepoint and try to change the ending but this time I just went with it, because I thought it wasnt worth it, when maybe next time she just stabs herself or idk. That woman had a death wish.

Actually there's one dialogue line that can prevent this (or not, I got the same ending where everyone's ded). When Anna is going to hug Syanna, you can say either "go ahead, what could possibly go wrong here" or "she tried to kill you, you know" or some vague shit like that. I chose the first option so they both went to meet Allah, maybe if I chose the second Anna would say something like "screw it then, execute her, I don't give a shit " and she'd be alive.

You have to walk around fairy tale land with Syanna and talk to her after she got caught in order to get the good ending
