Bloodstained is gonna be bad isn't it?

Bloodstained is gonna be bad isn't it?

That's a shame.

Most people that are calling Yooka-Laaylee outright bad were never really that fond of collectathons to begin with. Most fans of such games generally like it, from what I've seen.

Mighty No. 9, on the other hand, is considered bad by even the most die hard Megaman fans.

It'll be fun for SotN/metroidvania fans.

I loved SotN, and I liked the demo, so it'll be fine for me... and thats all that matters at the end of the day tbqhf.

Same dev team as MN9, same engine, yet a game that is much larger in scope. Doesn't sound very promising.

>I loved SotN,

What did you think of the handhelds?

The latest video we seen from them didn't look that great. Character and background clashed hard and almost looked like a hentai game by some dude at comiket. But maybe the gameplay won't suck who knows.

>same engine

UE3 and UE4 may both be called Unreal Engine, but they are different engines.

>Yooka-Laylee
>bad

Yes, what about it?

Not him, but I'd call Aria/Dawn of Sorrow IGA's best Castlevania, personally. Order of Ecclesia was alright, though its more linear.

Call me when you need another burial.

Next people will say Iga was always shit. Inafune is actually shit though. He's literally Capcom's Steve Jobs.

>looks like a hentai game at comiket
Uh actually, the hentai version of the game looks better

sauce now

Inafune is shit because he tricked people into thinking he created Megaman.

Same engine.

My only problem is that Miriam's hair is still static, which makes it look like she's wearing a helmet or a hat. They really need to get to animating her hair.

>Igarashi is shit because he tricked people into thinking he created metroidvanias and castlevania.

Not really

Yes really

He never even claimed those, though.

Inafune and Iga are incomparable. Iga is actually a developer.

Yes really

It will be a game that appeals specifically to fans of the Metroidvania games and nobody else. It will have a yellow metacritic rating and invite endless shitposting, but will be great for the sort of people who actually care about this genre of game.

>Iga is actually a producer

Shitpost all you want, Iga has all the credentials that Inafune never had.

Yes it's going to be bad.

Unless they drop that incredibly slow and lethargic natural mobility of the main character and stop copying SOTN so much, the game will be forgotten in less than a month.

The only reason anyone will ever talk about it after that first month is to:

>make fun of how no one talks about it anymore
>talk about porn
>compare it to other castlevania games like it

She moves too slowly.

That 2.5d nonsense isn't helping it either. This game would be an instant classic if it didn't have that awful, muddled art style/direction and engine.

No I am not shitposting. I didn't link a source because you will say it's fake anyway. Here's www.google.com for you. Check for yourself.

>Iga has all the credentials that Inafune never had.
LOL

All they had to do was not give in to crowdfunding excitement and instead of making a bunch of fake stretch goals, make realistically huge normal goals to give us a faithful representation of the concept art. I guarantee it'd have made the same money, and we'd have got the real product.

Everything about it screams "workaround", like what happened with Shantae.

Is this the new Tortanic, my based epic Sup Forumsbros?

If it still looks like those more recent videos come launch time, then this game will be a huge laughing stock pretty much immediately.

It looks like a game you'd play on kongregate or newgrounds.

Can't wait for the inevitable minor controversy that backers and journalists will use to deflect criticism of the game after reception to the """beta""" build is lukewarm

It sure doesn't look good right now, but it's missing grafix shaders which are the things that make vidya look good.

Mostly her design is just too busy. Someone should've told the concept artist to not try to shove so much shit in. She could easily lose the dyed hairtips. Her coat has too much shit going on with it. The weird stained glass rash spreading across her body...are most likely a plot point, so they should stay.

No because Sup Forums doesn't completely loathe this game, we are just calling it like it is and expect the worst.

>what happened with Shantae.
what happened with Shantae?
They used 3d tweening or whatever that technique was, do know that much

>bloodstained is bad because muh graphics

I fuckin love BK and I 100%'d BT and DK64 and I think Yooka-Laylee fucked up. The worlds are too goddamn big.

How did Shovel Knight get away with it?

sore point, there wouldn't be happiness if this game turned out to be shit, there's basically nothing to be gained from it being a garbage fire.

Thus, why he is Capcom's Steve Jobs.

You know what's terrible? That the game will be average at best and worst, but the fanbois will defend it as if it's the holy grail of vidya

Iga is shit for making a self insert as the most powerful Belmont in the CV canon.

Its a shame how everything has to be a failure these days for you guys. Bloodstained doesnt look offensive at all and the demo they put out played as expected.

Remember me?

By having a dev team that was realistic.
Hell they only asked for 75k on the kikestarter.

Shantae was touted as being completely hand-drawn and a significantly larger product than what was promised. Stretch goals weren't really stretch goals, they were integral parts of the story held hostage, and even the ones that made it in are a fraction of what was hinted.

It's also been quite a few months, and barely a peep out of the dev team, despite having a fucking massive amount of stuff still unfinished.

The game was released, and it isn't terrible, but it's very clearly a hollow tech demo compared to what was promised. Bloodstained very possibly will fall into this category, especially with the absurd amount of stretch goals promising the world.

>yooka-laylee is bad because my e-cleb got trashed from being a bathroom joke after making racist comments even after the pewdiepie fiasco

>Expecting anything but average from a budget clone

trying too hard to relive past glories and milk 25 year old fans instead of making a good game

I see programmer as much as producer, shitpost-kun.

>Feel when I'm backing his enty and there's a demo this month.

What is with this myth being perpetuated that Kickstarter games inherently please people as long as they overlap with their genre interest? Like as though quality of design is not a thing. Or are people feeling protective of YL still not going to acknowledge that a notable amount of criticism of the game comes from fans of the genre who feel that it fails to live up to its predecessor from 20 years ago?

Its certainly not a perfect game. It certainly isnt as great as Banjo. But I still wouldn't call it bad, though. Disappointing, yes.

No, Yooka-Laylee is bad, because I want all video games kickstarted by kikestarter to fail.

Let me spam the same EasyAllies review to point out flaws of a game I never played.

Oh wow that does look better

Yooka ain't bad, I'm playing and having fun with it.

That hud looks like it came straight from a souls game.

Dev apparently loves Salt and Sanctuary and soulsborne so it has that influence in the design and combat, gun parries etc.

give me the sauce. Google a shit.

Yep. He is the programmer of 3 non-castlevania games. Good job. retard-kun

giantbomb.com/koji-igarashi/3040-40883/credits/

He's a programmer for SoTN, m8.

Yooka is like a shitty Banjo

STOP PLAYING IT

>Yooka is like a shitty Banjo

I would agree with you if you said a worse Banjo, but Yooka isn't shit.

What is all this bullshit you're spewing? I followed the HGH from the start and literally nothing you've said here is true, aside from your opinion that the base game isn't very good

Integral parts of the story held hostage? Now how the fuck could you know that? There 4 extra game chapters as pledge rewards and everything else was just bonus stuff, costumes, characters, voice acting, etc.

>It's also been quite a few months, and barely a peep out of the dev team, despite having a fucking massive amount of stuff still unfinished.

What in the fuck are you talking about? They've been releasing slowly but steadily in typical WayFoward fashion. There was an update for the game and discussing progress on March 2nd you lying nigger

>Sup Forums gets a taste how Mighty N9 failed hard
>now they want every game to fail like that

Wow.

>4 extra chapters were pledge rewards

Stretch goals, sorry. 2 of which made it in.

>It's also been quite a few months, and barely a peep out of the dev team, despite having a fucking massive amount of stuff still unfinished.

WF hardly ever shows major stuff off while it's still being developed, mainly due to how prone they are to flipping tables. There's still been KS updates since the game released, and they released a new mode last month that wasn't part of the stretch goal plans (granted, it isn't very substantial, but still).

>What is Tortanic?
>What is Haze?

And if you know your interviews, he did not do much programming but more creative things like making up scenes/scenarios and monsters.

By being released before Mighty Nr. 9

Except that Yooka Laylee it's really good, senpai.

sourse?

And also being different to Mighty No 9 like night and day.

Iga only the AD for SOTN, he's scamming people too.
