Arena has been such bullshit for me. I keeping getting matched up with obvious whales. I even made it a point to not use party members with skill inheritance and it still matches me up with them. How fucking incompetent can ISIS be?

Flying mage is not to be trifled with. When you swap her agg with some olev tome. and add her pull back. She is wrecking shit. and can hold a strike or 2 on her own.

I'm just impressed that I've been consistently getting the worst fucking matchups to date since the game launched. At least I listened to my gut and streaked before this update hit, the few hundred extra points can rot for all I care.

Intermediate sometimes gives me problems but Advanced 1/3 times is just going to shit on me.

He probably means the Support skill Draw Back, not the B skill Drag Back. Pretty sure ranged units can't use Drag Back or Knock Back.

Ah, I assumed he meant the possibility of a "Summer Beach" Lucina, which seems likely given the spring summon.

Not that user, but it's Advanced or bust if you want to rank well. I've had bad matchups in the past on Advanced, but never this bad, nor this consistently matched with whales. Shit needs fixing, ASAP.

You have an ungodly number of 4* units compared to your 5*s. Did you just promote everyone to 4*? In any case, go to the rank up screen, look at the stats that show up there, and then google the FEH wiki to see what her average stats are. Do keep in mind that weapons and skills affect what's shown, so take it all off before complaining they don't match up.

Thanks for explaining. I've been playing since the game came out but I haven't really taken it seriously till now. Eirika looks like shes +HP/-Res and Eiffie is +Atk/-HP.

Effie is nigh ideal, only thing better for her is -Spd, so I'd go with her. Eirika has what I'd consider to be a worse than neutral spread, but she's still plenty usable, so if you're wanting a buffer in the future she's still an option.

These sacred seals change literally nothing with one of those speedy characters would you shit yourself seeing speedy character+2 as opposed to normal? Because having a speed sacred seal on them is like that but without also a +1 to hp. It changes nothing in strategy and might as well have not been added at all.

I certainly would if it bumps them over to the doubling threshold/prevents my doubles. I'm not saying the seals we currently have right now are meta defining or whatever, just that I can see a few niche uses for ones we do have, with the Speed one being the most useful overall.

The +speed and +attack ones have been useful to me. The speed prevents my Fcorrin from being doubled by Lucina and the attack is letting my Taco one shot Lindes more reliably.

You deserve it for running a team who can't OHKO a dragon. Specially now that skill inheritance is starting to become more prevalent.

His Atk is really bad. If he had a better kit, he might be able to get over this. Robin M found a niche with a bad attack stat in the early meta by having an advantage over colorless units. Merric doesn't seem to have a niche like that yet. His weapon has a bonus against flying units, but bow users do that, too, and some of them are really desirable beside that. He has a neat AoE special, but that hasn't proven to be especially useful, and if it were, you could just inherit it to a stronger unit. He gets a lot of HP with good Def, but he doesn't put it to good use like a melee character could. It's hard to see what he's good at, since he just looks like he's outclassed in every aspect.
