There are 3 universes that actually sound really fucking amazing:

1) Pokemon
2) Gundam
3) Megaman Legends

In Pokemon you develop a relationship with an enigmatic creature that can lead you down the path of supreme glory. Training and battling lovable monsters is pretty much as fucking fantastical as a sport can get.

In the Gundam universe, you get to pilot virtually indestructible behemoths and become a legendary warrior; a master of mass destruction. Being able to pilot a humanoid weapon like that would be fucking amazing.

The appeal in the Megaman Legends universe is becoming a fucking kick-ass engineer AKA "digger" who develops weapons to hunt for treasure in ancient dungeons. And in your spare time, you can go hang out in the comfy european/japanese city and explore other interests besides the glory of the dig. And pirates- don't forget the pirates.


Typing this has made me realize that I am a total sucker for fame and glory. I suppose the prospect of being the goddamn best at something is infinitely more appealing than saving the world or some other shit.

Pokemon is a terrible choice imo. Sure you /could become a pokemon master, but with virtually everyone else on the planet trying to do the same thing your actual chances of success are very low. You'll probably end up as just another run of the mill trainer like if you entered vgc in real life not to mention the actual lifestyle wouldn't be nearly as pleasant as in the games.

For a one way trip probably something like pokemon or animal crossing as they'd be either easier or normal lives but in a more interesting and optimistic world.
I'd be tempted to pick some porn game but it's probably wiser to pick something you can live in.
Maybe go for some space sim as that'd be cool as hell but not is it's as lonely as the games actually are, if you could fly around with buddies it'd be cool.
