Why would anyone want a dub of anything is beyond my understanding. It's like watching an old Jackie Chan movie with the shitty dubs instead of the original acting. Not only in BB you get a similar quality in voice acting than on the example I mentioned, you have to wait an extra 6 months in order to get it. Worse case scenario we get a Persona 5 pulled on us and the game gets delayed like an extra year.

BB's dub was pretty good outside of Platinum and changes in voice actors. Lips don't sync up in old movies. The animation doesn't matter for a VN. Voice acting has improved over time. I don't remember if Seitz was the voice director, but he's pretty good at what he does.

Most people don't mind waiting those 6 months to get what they want. In the past, if you didn't want to wait and were in the tournament scene you would instead import the game. There hasn't been a problem about it until CF for some reason. Maybe because it's the last game in the series and Mori didn't want Westerners to get spoiled on the game due to how fast information spreads; however he could have just worked with Aksys to produce a dub during the development process like they did with CP.

As for P5, that dub is just mediocre and all over the place.
